This is absolutely illegal.  I pay for texts and I'd like to help shut these effers down!

I got the same, and the phone greeting is "This is an FBI agent Welks,,, investigating the complaints..." The phone # is Sprint cell phone registered in Orange Co., CA. FBI in LA does not know about sich an agent. They suggest to send complaints to ic3.gov (cyber crimes).

Same message as other complaints. Called the number and indeed it answers with "This is Agent Welks of the FBI..... yada yada"

Have no idea how I got on this call list. Frustrating!!!!!

I called AT&T.  They said to text STOP (all in capital letters) and I would not be charged for either text.

Got text same as above text about optout/reducing debt, but 949-973-1651 (instead of ending 1661).  Reverse number lookup is unpublished from Calif.  An after hours phone call to # is full mailbox and no mention of a business name or any other info about who placed the text or who number belongs to.  These texts cost me money !  /  Appears to be survey/sollicator text.

I just got the same message - are these people just sending texts to random numbers and seeing what works? This is insane.

I just got a text, similar to these, but it said nothing about dept... It just said "need cash?" and it's got the opt out thing... They better not text me more... How'd they get my number?!

same message as all other complaints except i noticed the dates from previous are in Nov... it's Christmas Eve... give me a break!

Got it today too..."eliminate up to 90% of your debt today - Really!"  it lists an email address too - optout4@yahoo.com

these folks are spammers.  they don't identify themselves and waste our texts //costs.

i complained to the FCC ... it is pretty easy to do and hopefully if enough people complain, they'll take action

I pay for every text I recieve. These guys are killing me. How do I stop them?

I got a spammy text message from them about debt elimination and said I needed to reply to opt out. They need to burn in hell.
