Got a call saying to have me or my regional attorney general return their call and don't disregard the message and if they don't hear from me all they can do is wish me good luck as the situation at hand folds on me. I am not sure why they keep calling me. All I have is old debt from when I was young and dumb which I am making regular payments on... I have placed an FTC complaint on these people before and they won't call for a while but then they will pick back up with a different call back number.

I just got a call from a "robert mcgee". so i pretened like i was my sister who is an attorney and began asking all kinds of attorney like questions. the guy was going along up until i asked for his fax number. then he got quiet and hung up. i told him the call was being recorded and that i represented my sister (in this case myself) with all of her financial affairs. i advised him that if the calls do not stop i will take them to court for impersonating federal agents to committ fraud. I told them i know exactly who they are and what numbers and names that have been used and will submit them to the state attorney general office in which i will actively assist with the lawsuit against them. lol

This is a scam. i dont deal with no foreigner when it comes to my money. even if they are legitimate reps for a legitimate debt that i owe. i always ask for an american. point blank.

First clue...The scammers calling have an Indian accent, however they come up with names like Jack Wilson. lmao. Now unless you live under a rock like the Geico commercial, this should ring a bell in your head. Don't go to the extra length, speaking to them will either get you scammed or victorious. Hmmm what do I mean? If you answer the call and tell them your info then you will most likely end up broke with a " will work for food sign". If you tell them you are an under cover agent who has had many complaints about their company and are moving in on their company rapidly. or you're the Supreme court judge and are investigating their operation because it was reported by millions of people they will leave you alone. lol. try it. it never fails for me.

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers pretend to be law enforcement (police, sheriff, Feds, AG's Office, fake cop agencies with made-up names) and using bought/hacked loan application data to extort money for fictitious crimes or your personal ID.

Received a call and answered it. I knew what it was about so I muted the calland listened to them get angry when no one answered back. This is a payday loan scam. THey get your info from when you fill out an online app for a payday loan. If you call back or talk with them, they will tell you the amount you owe but will never tell you the name of the payday loan lender, the date whgen the loan was taken out, or eve nthe amount of the original loan. When you don't pay, you are threatened aboujt being arrested and thrown in jail.

I have been recieving these call for years now. Do not fall for it.

I got a call from someone that say their name is Robert Mcgee and that he is with a law firm and the name of the company is bureau of credit investigation. He has an Indian accent but I told him I could not talk to him so I will have to call him back after I searched for him on the internet. He called me from 510-423-4155 and I repeated the number to him and he then told me to call him back at 951-215-4155 so I looked up that number also. Unfortunately I got scammed by someone with an Indian accent before that stole money from my account but I am wise to them now. They called me before but I told them I knew exactly who they were and they stopped calling for a while now they are doing it again. I am going to report both numbers to the FTC immediately because they are messing with the wrong person right now.
