This company keep calling me over and over again. At last they left a message it like urgent call, that's just try to freak every body out. Ignore!!!

These people are a scam - asking for SS #, DOB, Middle Initial.  They are harassing us an very rude.  They have called apx 5 times in 6 months.  Gave the Name of John Cuttler.  We did not call back.

Google your name and number, you'll be surprised what pops up! Places like Spokeo - you need to make them remove your info. And if you FB, make sure your info is set to private..

They called my number asking for "Catherine Smith". I kept telling them I'm NOT that person and they kept trying. The last time they called a man got rude with me and said he had her files in front of him and had an investigation going on. I finally said "YOU HAVE THE WRONG NUMBER, STOP CALLING ME." And hung up, blocked their number. It's weird because I'm all the way over here in Florida and wonder how they got my number. I'm pretty private about it and don't post it anywhere online.

these people keep calling my mom asking for my brother. one callers name was Robert Flores. he was very rude to my mom. when i called a White man answered and he also was Very rude. he kept interrupting me and he wouldn't let me finish my sentence. he said that they were lawyers and wanted to help my brother. i asked if a Texas lawyer could contact us instead he got mad and said for my brother to call him. i asked how do we even know they are real due to scams. he said when my brother doesn't own anything we will know he's real.... confusing because he first said he wanted to help then he's threatening to take everything.

These people are scammers! They also call from 9512718816, a Novella & Phillip Carlson are 2 seperate people who I have gotten calls from regarding two "accounts" that their clients want to "sue" us for claiming we're involved in a civil suit. They went as far as searching our our names on the Internet (however they know those I'm unsure.) & found my business page (which is how they got my number) & then saw my husbands comment on my business page & got his info including where he worked on Camp Pendleton (but called him exactly by his name as it is on FaceBook, which isn't actually his correct name), then searched his work info & found his SgtMaj number & called him saying we were being sued. These people are disgusting & it sickens me that they haven't been stopped. Report them them to your local pd for harassment, the Federal Trade Commision & the Attorney General. NEVER give them ANY of your information & make sure ALL your info on FB is private!

Got call from this # asking for a Kevin, at first I was polite and stated they had the wrong #.
Next time they said it was urgent, I gave same info told them to stop calling.
Then it was a legal matter, My patience is wearing thin, told them to stop calling as it is the wrong #.
To-day I was not polite and yelled at the person told him to stop calling  

This is a collection agency looking to recover money from files they have taken on..If they are calling your number attempting to get a hold of someone you are related to or know... they will try to convince you that you are legally obligated to give them any information about the person they are attempting to contact... this is NOT the truth. If you tel them you are NOT a contact number for that person and to take your phone number off their records and they continue to call... in many states that is against the law and if documented properly there could be grounds for a harassment lawsuit against the creditor and at time there have been punitive damages awarded in bad cases!!!  If you proceed to tell them you are going to contact the attorney general's office in your state if they don't cease and desist contacting you........ pretty certain they will STOP!!!  Hope this helps a bit!!

They keep calling and scared me

This number (951) 271-8806 keeps calling me and saying I have a US bank account when I never opened one,  and I owe 1200 in over Draft charges.  I was stupid enough to give them my account info.  I read all these posts and had to go and cancel my card.  I have an attorney looking into this now.  Thank you all for this very useful info.  

This company, a female caller, called my cell phone asking for my wife. I asked what the call was pertaining to and she told me that it was a legal matter and that my cell phone number was listed as hers. My wife has had the same phone number for the past 10 years. I identifed myself as a police officer and asked her not to contact me again and she was very rude and told me that she was going to continue to call me until I allowed her to talk to my wife. My wife does not have any oustanding debt. This may or may not be a legit company, however, the call was disconnected when I asked for a detailed letter, on letter head, with all the information about the nature of the call.

called twice so far say my daughters name how they got my phone # unknown or her name. am turning over to state DA office for processing complaint.

And... if a debt collector threatens to sue you at all, they'd better intend on carrying that through or else they are breaking the law as well.

What is the statute of limitations...apparently I owed some overdraft fees at US Bank when I was overseas in about 2006...now they say they want 2700 to cover it...there is no way I am paying that amount of money. This number is harassing me at my job now!

I keep getting calls 7 calls back to back!!!

The collection agency's troll the web looking for sites like this that expose them for what they are. They leave comments like this or ones that say you should pay them off. You can tell right off on this one....You see the anger in the msg.  Doctors are high up on the evaluation scale. the opposite side well......Bill collectors

They were looking for someone who used me as a debt/finance reference, but I told them that I hadn't talked to that person in more than 7 years. Asset Recovery stated that they would take my # off their list.  We shall see.

These people called me on my cell and then called me at my work. I told them they were not allowed to call me at work, and she told me "well you never answer your phone, so..". They want to collect money for US Bank. I closed that account over 8 years ago, outside of the statute of limitations. I would send them a cease letter but I guess they don;t have a legitimate address.

Too many calls! What debt?

Just received a call at work from these people....I called back, was put on hold forever.  I hung up, since I had better things to do. 3 seconds later the phone rings and the person on the other end was very rude to my receptionist.

Continue to call every day and leave messages - same script of "very important that we talk to you today" and "please respond so we don't have to keep doing this." Got tired of the messaged so I finally answered and said I don't know that person and he was harassing me, asking more questions, using my spouse's name.  Do not give them any information.  He said he would continue to call me every day and I said I would get a lawyer if he didn't stop.  These people are evil.

Just caller id block and call them. Don't give them any info. Just give them an earful or just silence. then randomly hit redial all day long... See how the like it!
