The same person called me 8/28, 8/29/13 at my job.. but it was a suppostly parallegal, and the jugde george velousqui. It's so embarrasing dealing at job, with this scammers. I HOPE ITS A WAY the gobernment could stop this crazy wacos scammers. HE got my bad temper, I just insult both of them.

This person called at my job, he said is the parallegal for john velasqui, has an indu accent. Then, said that velousqui is the jugde, had my social security number and address, claiming someone in california has a file on my name, wanted to arrest me for fraud.., home violations of taxes,and I responded so mad..I said to them, both are scam..I never visit california, and I work hard to be in problems. Then he said, im going to send the Nypd to your house yo arrest you..and I said, send it, I will sue all the parts involved in this conspirancy lies scammer.. then, I came back from my job, and it was no police..I hope its a way to catch this bandits. Also, he gave me the same phone to call the supposed judge, with and extension..and when the phone rings, its only a tone. Strange..because all public or pri ate agencies, have an answering service or proffesional settings for the phone system. I hope they don't call me again.that's so stressfull dealing with this crap people.

Yes me too,he called me about 100 times I have to block him and start considering calling social security office to report a fraud or something.

This person George Belowski has called me informing me that I have a warrant out for my arrest. Is this true or false. Is there anyone else going through this?

I feel bad for you report this to the IC3.gov This guy tried the same tactics on me, I told him Dude, I do not understand a word you are saying, and I tell you what I will call the Att. Gen. Off. myself. Also, Trust me if there were warrants out for your arrest, the FBI, Police or any Gov. agency is not going to give a courtesy call stating you have warrants and we are coming to get you. They would just come and arrest you. NEVER EVER believe any of these scare tactics. Tell them you want their SS, Debit Card # home address and first born. Tell them you are calling FBI on them. Hope you get your money and identity back.

I also received a call from what came up as 385-265-2232, The Idiot left a message, stating he was from Los Angeles Attorney General office then gave me this number 951-290-7363, He was even Stupid enough to leave a complete message threatening that if I do not give them my SS number he can not help what will unfold on me, So I called the 951 number back, spoke with who stated was Darren Rodgers, answering state Attorney General office. I said Hello, I am calling the FBI Thank you for your information. I have reported this fraudulent idiot to the Alaska Attorney generals office, Placed a Fraud alert on all my cards and credit reporting such as Equifax so they are Red Flagged, Also what people need to do is : Contact your Bank, and Credit Card companies, The 3 major credit reporting bureaus and have an Alert put on them.

I Got The Same Call Saying I Was Being Charged With 3 Things And If I Didn't Pay 656 $ I Would Be Arrested. They Asked Where Was I At I Told Them My Son School. They Are Scammers Cause Obviously Im Not Arrested If Im Laying In My Bed !

I got call from same person. They also called me from what appeared to be my local sheriff department. I hung up the phone because the sheriff seem to have the same Indian accent as the scammer. When I called the sheriff department back the told me that didn't call me and these scammers have apps on their phone where they can make it seem that are calling you from any number. Don't worry it's a scam! The worrying part should be that they have all of your personal info!

They cursed at me and said that the police was coming to pick me up. They have all of my information.

I've had 2 of these calls in the last week...I told them to send the cops since he stated money had already been deposited in my account and I could prove it hadn't...that's when he changed his story and said it was for the processing fee...really $8000.00 for a processing fee...don't think so buddy...today I told them if they called again I would get the police involved and then blocked the number

i literally just had a call from this same guy george ... the horrible thing that he knew my info ofcourese it was out dated but regarless it was still my info thats very scary. at one point i did thought it was a collection agency but he changed his storys up and the way he was acting made it very shady. at one point he told me to get in my car drive to my nearest atm to make a payment while his on the phone, super shady.

Same Deal here. Got repeated calls this morning asking for my ex-husband. Wanted me to give him a message from the States Attorney's office. Said his name was Kevin Johnson, and wanted the call to be returned to a George Belowski.Said it was a "legal matter" . Heavy indian accent, poor english, very rude.

These scammers called my office number last Friday threatening me that they are going to send me the Sherrif's Department Officers to arrest me for what reason they failed to tell me but demanded me to send them $745.00 to settle. I told them that I will do next week so that I could do some investigations about the number and the caller. All I found was that they are scammer most likely based in India. When they called this morning, I told them that my Attorney is going to call them and explain everything to him. The guy got so upset about the bad news and insisted that "Just pay the money otherwise involving an attorney is going to prolong the process and by then you will be in prison already." I told him never to call me.

I just got this same call. They prey on people who sign up online for loans. Most people who can afford a loan go straight to a bank. The other part of the population who have less money tend to find ways to get easy money to help themselves along. They tend to have things like a record, or probation, and even old tickets they didnt pay. Which will result in a warrant. So if the people they called have any one of these and they believe this call they will give up the money.

This is a scam big time. I received a call from this number like 25 times and they even called my work. I took it to the police station, and when the police talked to people that cannot speak English, they hung up the phone. Crazy that they have my social and my name though that is the main thing that worries me.

last week i recieved phone calls from some attorneys office froma lawyer named George Belowski he had a very strong india accent and i couldn't hardly understand him but he said i was being charged with fraud and stealing money and if i didn't pay them and certain amount of time they will turn it over to the law enforcement so i didn't know what to think i was terrified and scared so when i told them i couldn't come up with the money they said they will have a warrent out for my arrest and i will be arrested on the next morning,so i fell for it i sent them money but it wasn't enough and then i finally caught on to thier scam i demanded the name of thier office,the address and a copy of the documents of my lawsuit to give to my lawyer they got really upset and started to harrass me and threatening me,then i got a call from an officer named officer matthews stateing he will be there to arrest me in the morning,so i called the police here and ask them if they had an officer by that name,they said they didn't,so now the police here know all about this scam,so please let this harrassment and threatening calls stop and don't them get to you to.

Also received  cals from the same number, yesterday they have some details on you but not all is recent. Im thinking they are receiving information from a 3rd party such as loan applications or store coupons replys. I agree, ask them for the contact details and tell them your lawyer will be in touch---the call will stop.

My husband and I keep getting calls for me from this number

Since they're scammers, most likely from India, tell them when they call that the FBI is recording and monitoring all calls you receive from them.  That may stop them for a little bit.  Oh, and DO report the calls to the FTC, the FBI and also your state's Attorney General.

Got a call from this number and he said his name was george belowski from the california attn gen office and i had some accounts of fraud on my ss # and the cops were goin to be at my door in an hour if i didnt pay him and like a dummy i did and now i just feel retarded.  Dont fall for this scam artist!!

Got this caller on cell phone this AM. My experience same as other posters. Caller's number showed restricted or unavailable, but poor english-speaker left this number in his message - twice. Didn't pay close attention, but did say something about representing a legal claim or charge.

Received a call from this number stating that they were from the Attorney General's office stating that there are criminal charges on my social security number. They were rude, spoke poor English, there a lot static in the background, they are persistent and non-stop. This harassment needs to stop.  They said they were paralegals from Edward D.Marshalls.

We have gotten 3 calls from these people with the same stuff - all very clearly not speaking enough English to work at any AG's office wanting to know about some person who used to work here whose name is unintelligible and not a former employee.  they call back.

A person from this number calls me daily and says his name is Chris Brown from the Ohio Attorney General's Office and wants me to call them back. First he can not speak English and clearly his name could not be Chris Brown, 2nd how could you be from the "Ohio State Attorney general's Office" from a 951 area code. This person has now started to call my work. How can I get them to stop??

Calls hangs up and calls right back. Calls answer phone get dial tone.
