I got the same thing today; tthey wanted me or my attorney to call, supposedly I am being sued, named in a lawsuit, but no identification what for or being sued by who.  Number is supposedly below

I received a digital message form this place. It said i was named in a lawsuit and a notice to appear has been filed. It said I am to forward this message to my attorney. It also said a retraining order has been filed against me. It is a collecion agency and scammer. They are trying to collect on a junk debt.

This place needs to be shut down and the people arrested! If I had a restraining order against me I sure as heck would have been served by a representative of the courts at my home or office.

This type of collecting is far to aggressive and uncalled for.Bunch of jerks! I added them to my junk list on my phone to automatically deny the call.

I got a phone call today, and I did not recognize the caller.  Then I thought it is probably a scam. Looks like they are.

several calls from 561-288-6364 noting my son has a civil lawsuit and needed to forward this informaiton to his attorney. After i ended the call on my cell-phone they called my house number. I have no clue how they go my cell phone or house phone number.

Just filed my complaint with FTC.  Got call on my cell and land line.  The name of the company is Legal Repossesion Services, they are in FLORIDA.

Yes,I get these calls all the time,I mess with them in the worst way possible,I'll be talking with one of them and I'll wait like 10 seconds and say hey wait my phone is about to die,can you call me at my office,and I'll give them a number...now the only thing that bothers me is that when they call said number,I cant be there to see the look on there faces when they call the number and when it picks up the first words they hear are.......NJ State Attorney Generals Office lol!

Received a message from this number on 8/13/2013. Claimed to be from the Criminal Investigation Unit and gave me a docket number. They claimed there was a restraining order against me and I need to contact my attorney. Failure to comply would result in further legal action and incarceration. Since this area code is resident in Florida and I have not been in Florida for 25 years, you know this has to be a scam. I have filed a report with the FTC.

I received the same call on MY cell phone. Same type of information as everyone else seems to be saying. Gave a claim number, needs a lawyer, to respond within 24 to 48 hours.Something about a civil case and a restraining order. Gonna have him listen to the voicemail when he returns home (the call wasn't for me, it was for my friend). Makes me wonder how these people get others' numbers. What do they do, go thru data bases or something?

Just got a call too.  Called the old bank and my account was closed in 1996 but they somehow got a hold of some old records.  Said I owed a balance of over 5k but would settle for 1500.  total scam. and nasty....

I have received several calls from this number. This morning they left a message. I contacted my local police about it.. They called them. The only info they got was, Legal Repo group was their name. They wouldn't give anymore info to the police except they were "just warning people of an upcoming legal action". The police explained how the legal procedure worked. The police said they may be searching for your address. DON"T give any personal info to them.

Same as everyone else. I tried blocking on my phone and they got thru the block. Not sure how but I will try again. Irritating. Either take me to court or leave me alone.

Got 2 called on 7/31/13 and 8/2/13 from this number--- ?Civil Investigations Unit? claiming that there was a subpoena & restraining order coming. And message left was for my husband, but for Restraining Order is what got me worked up. Clearly this was a scam, as they threatening asking you to contact them witin 24-48 hrs but you do call and all the voicemail are full. Then to make it worse the last thing the message say is "good luck to you"..

I had the same thing yesterday with the same threats and an offer for a "settlement" for a portion of the alleged outstanding balance.   It was clear for numerous reasons that this was a fraudulent attempt to get money.  

I ran all 3 of my credit reports and confirmed the long closed credit card in questions was closed by myself in good standing with the issuing bank.

Since this was a Florida number and I live in California, this becomes a Federal issue and I have reported them to the FBI.

I received a recorded call today from "LEGAL REPOSSESSIONS GROUP", a supposed ?Civil Investigations Unit? claiming that there was a subpoena & restraining order coming for an unpaid debt of $623 from an account circa 2003-2009 (????????) and cited a claim & affadavit # of AB09-1074 ?where I have been named as a respondent and must appear???

Everything I find when I Google this phone # says this is a complete scam.

I have put Identity Fraud Alerts on all 4 credit bureaus, and filed a complaint with the FTC ? this woman, ?Ashley Simpson? knew the last 4 digits of my social security #, my cell phone number, my current address, AND my first, middle and current last name.  All should could say about the debt was an amount, and that it was a supposed HSBC Mastercard, but no other info unless I set up a payment plan with them.  

Obviously this is a scam, but I do not know if I should also submit a cease and desist to HSBC Corporate, to protect myself (???)  

Since my husband is a Sheriff?s Deputy in our county, and for our area of the county, I?m pretty sure if I was being served with anything, it would be in the bag of "to be served" in his cruiser, as we speak.  Just saying?.

Got a message saying there was an affidavit of some kind.
Gave 561-288-6364 as number to call back.
That number gives your 3 options all of which
lead to a message saying "mailbox is full".

This must be a tota scam.

I, too, received a message from this number. Actually this isn't the first time. A few years ago, same sort of threatening message: legal action, lawsuit, restraining order. But when I called to see what was going on, a very rude woman was demanding that I pay them "What I owed" and when I said I wasn't going to pay she said "Well you didn't mind stealing money from my client (creditcard)" I didn't answer this time around.

A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE WAS CONTACTED AND A VOICE MAIL WAS LEFT ON THERE ANSWERING MACHINE STATING I NEEDED TO CALL WITH A AFFADAVIT NUMBER. I CALLED THE NUMBER AND I SPOKE WITH A MARCUS MITCHELL AND WAS TOLD THAT I OWED GE MONEY CARD. I CALLED GE MONEY CARD AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD NOTHING OUTSTANDING UNDER MY NAME. I CALLED THE COMPANY BACK ADN WAS TOLD THEY WILL SEE ME IN COURT AND ECT

I received a call from this number today and they left an automated voice mail stating the same as many of the other complaints....gave case number for civil case that I was a respondent in, I should forward this information to my attorney, that there would be a restraining order against me, etc. The funny thing is....restraining orders are used in domestic violence/abuse cases to keep someone away from you, not to collect a debt. No restraining order needed for me to stay away from these idiots!

I have now received two calls from 561-288-6364 from a Vicky Thomas giving an order to show, claim # and affadavit #. I must call within 24-48 hours and forward this to an attorney. I sent notice to the FTC after the first call. The first returned call got a message that the box was full and could not receive any mesages.

called via recording threatening w/ legal action; seizing and restraining order etc. gave some claim # . also said needed to secure an attorney! some guy answered wanting the claim # when I called back asking explanation about THEM. He then hung up after I stated I'd be sueing HE and THEM for mental anguish when he refused to come forth w/ info.

I have received 2 phone calls from this number:  Federal Investigation Unit with complaint, show cause and restraining order.  I've called my attorney and he says they are a fraud.

Got a call also from this number, threatening a restraining order. Calling my local police department and reporting this

I just received a threatening voice mail from this company stating that they were filing a civil lawsuit and restraining order and that myself or attorney should call in regards to this matter.

Receive a call today stating they were from legal repo group and said I was being sued from an old account that was given to them. Stated his name is John Burrell 561-288-6364 ext 1403 and his Emp ID # is 1403 and he was to settle a debt that I had to pay court fees, plus legal fees.

SAME THING.......... Non existent debt............ threats of court, atty, fees....... fraud allegations.  called bank they referred to, acct# nonexistent.  called FBI NCT notified bank that their name was being used and that they should do sumn about it

these people said the same things to me who they

looks like these scammers are going through old merged companies . for example they are calling on old providian financial accounts that were take over by washing mutual which was bought out by chase neither of the two old companies exist. there for the debts are the property of the existing banks.  these scammers buy the list for pennies on the dollars and strong arm people into paying. very illleagale.they use different names and were recently kicked out of Tampa amd moved operations cross state. file a complaint with the Florida attorney general and if anyone gets an address post it

Just got a threatening call in the form of a voice mess., from these idiots today as well, # 561-288-6364 stating that a complaint had been filed against me and that i had to appear in court by a certain date.
