Telemarketers rarely leave messages. Most decent companies use a automatic dialer, and call hundreds and thousands of people a day. With so many calls, it is not profitable to leave a message for each person.

If you do not wish to be called, simply don't give out your phone number. We get people all the time who fill out forms, requesting more information(including their phone number), and are surprised and frustrated some times to have some one call them.

If you are getting called, and you no longer wish to be, simply ask them to add you to their DNC(Do Not Call) list. Those specific words will get the job done. Trust me, if you don't want to talk to us, we don't want to keep calling you. It is better to answer the first time, and politely request to be on their DNC list. People are often so quick to yell, and hang up, which may result in more calls. If you ask to be on the DNC, it is legally binding.

It is rare that companies are out there steeling information, or even trying to sell something. Telemarketers are people too. We are just like everyone else, working hard to feed our families. Most of us would be happy to be helpful, and remove you if you would like. We don't like calling people that don't want us to call either.

I have been receiving calls for approx one year from the same number except it ends in 7183.  Others have reported, 7182.  If you do a search for 7183 you will see that they are linked and NOT legit although, it seems strange that the calls are coming from Senior living.  I believe it is someone that works there that has nothing better to do, as when I call back, nobody answers and when I pick up they just hang up.

Hopefully when they are contacted about this, the calls will stop, but I receive them daily from 7183 which I have blocked

I have no idea whose phone number this belongs to, and have been receiving calls from this number at least one-two times per day. I feel that I am being harrassed by someone unscrupulous. How might I Block this number from the ability to phone my number in the future?

My experience was the same as Susie's. The caller identified herself as being with Seniors for Living, and since I had submitted a web inquiry recently for info about assisted living for my mother, I didn't think twice about it. But it does seem odd that a California group would be calling an East Coaster like me.

Got called from the same number.  Caller ID indicated that it was from COLLEGE SURFING.

Makes sense as I have inquired in the past about some extra college coursework.  But it still makes me angry that they did not leave a message, which is highly unprofessional of a college or any boiler room that would represent a college.  Any college that would resort to this type of behavior is definitely OFF my list!  It may have been the Universiity of Phoenix or Fullsail University which I made inquiries of.

I have gotten several calls from this number. this is from temecula, CA. no messages left. when i called back, i got an answer and the woman said "seniors for living". this is in response to a request i sent via a website for information re: assisted living for my father. i just wish they'd leave a message so i could have responded sooner.

i keep geting from this #thay ask for bob this is my co cell phone i hav no one called bob that works for me or has worked for me in the pasti put the # on my phone and marked it a**wipe and next time thay call i will say that bobs # is and give them the local # for the i.r.s or police or f.b.i i hope thay have fun with that you do the same ok

I have two missed calls. One from this number and another from 951-491-7184. Neither left a message. I looked it up and apparently 951 is a California area code....

just called and no reply or answer, but you can hear someone in background
