I have received several calls from them.  Today when they called I told them they were being investigated for fraud.  Next thing I know the guy (thick middle eastern accent) tells me he doesn't want my money he wants to %%ck me..I said what????  He repeated himself four or five times!!!

I sent a letter of complaint along with the number and the name of the man making the threats. I told them that these callas are being documented on this website. I need this man to stop calling my work.

Now that I have read this I know that I am being scammed by a pay day loan collector. It was a middle eastern gentleman who said that if I did not call him as soon as possible he would have to serve me with a declaration and use force. He didn't say who he was with or why he was calling, but he gave me an American name of Ron Branson? I came to work and the message was on my work phone as well. I have applied for pay day loans in the past, but have always paid them when they were due. If there was an address I would write to them and request they contact me through mail only, but I don't know where they are calling from.

I received the call at work, (middle east woman).

I was told them would contact my "parole officer", I've never been in trouble with the law, not even a speeding ticket.  The woman was very threatening, told me I was going to go to jail.  After for my lawyers phone number.

I told her I needed her contact information and that I would be calling the police immediately.  I told her my state does not allow Payday Loans (New Hampshire) and that it was very clear this was a scam. I informed her I have NEVER taken a Payday Loan and had only inquired about one (months ago).  She provided me with the number 951-708-1967 and it said it was not accepting incoming calls.

Its clear they are only looking for money $.

I have been receiving these calls all.  You need to report them to the FTC.  That is the only way you are going to stop them.  They were calling me from another #760-453-0397 and I reported them to FTC and the the police department.  REPORT THEM, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL STOP THEM!!!!!!!

Caller named "Jake Harber" from "Legal Account Associate" called our office looking for a part time employee who was not working at the time. Gave the return number of 951-708-1967 however the call came from 011-699-3340.  Was unprofessional and it was clear it was a scam.

I got this same call.  The call comes from 011-699-3340.  The guy on the line leave a message as the previous person said and to call 951-708-1967.  I called the number and he says that I got a Payday Loan from them this year and that they needed my Attorneys number.  I guess he didnt bank on me having an Attorney.  So I gave him the number.  I dont even have any Payday Loans.  What is so sad, they called on my mothers number which she just got about 3 months ago and this number has never been given out to anyone just family.  WTF!!!!

I received the exact same call at work, and quite frankly it sounded a little intimidating.  He said I needed to contact him or have my regional attorney of records contact him, and that if I didn't handle this asap, then all he could do is "wish me good luck"!   I think what is going on, like one of the posts above says, is obviously a scam.  I applied for a payday loan online, with a company that looked legit as I got their number and website from the phone book, but they shared all of my information with about a hundred other companies who have been blowing up my phone and email saying that I have money waiting to be picked up etc.  Well I never accepted any of the loans, as I never applied for them and the whole thing just didn't seem right, but now I'm getting this phone call from someone trying to scam repayment out of me.  I hope nobody falls for their scare tactics!

This is Advance Pay Day (A Pay day Advance Company) AND  Legal Accounts Associate (A Collection Company). Both companies are run by the same people. It is one company that commits fraud by telling you that you owe money for a cash advance that you may have INQUIRED about from Advance Pay Day. You may have inquired about a cash advance online, then Legal Accounts Associate / Advance Pay Day tries to trick you into paying off the advance that you never actually received. They usually wait a few months to call you, because many people forget the details by then and may be tricked into making a payment.
