I keep getting this man with heavy accent telling me hes with windows and If I keep putting him off and not get this program from Windows my PC is going to crash and that every e-mail I send out there going to be infested with Virus's! He has tried every way he knows how to get me Bank account # to buy The program Microsoft Advance Security Shied to clean out over 5 200 known problems ,Virus's as well as fix my Registery's ,plus of things !Windows is not happy when the people uses Windows don't fix known problems !After he understood I wasn't going to give him my Back Card or any bankinformation he told me I could call 1 661 -748- 0240 if I changed my mine and Windows would be happy as well as his self because he has to live with his self and all your friends will be happy! I just look the number up and saw this was a Skype number that from what I read a lot of people use!I really don't understand but I know God don't like people that rips people off and this man don't understand about my God, The only true God that loves us so much he allowed His son (Jesus)to Die for all man kind over 2 thousand years ago !so thanks to every one this old gal isn't going to be ripped off with this mans lies! I got the same call Friday and I got up with Windows as soon as possiable after the man from another country tried to sell me The Microsoft Secuity Shied Advance Program! He was slick but I'm still getting calls from him and hes calling using different #! I have let every one know and If You are on Facebook because I don't have an account with Facebook Please Post it to Your News and Home page !thanks for sharing this!

I also got this same call on April 9, 2013 and told him that I would have to call him back this is the number he gave me and said his name was Alex.

I just got the same call, same scam, April 8, 2013.  I told him that I would need to call back, and this is the number that he gave me.

Called had accent from India and claimed to be from the computer maintenance dept of Windows.  He said his equipment showed my computer was in danger of crashing.  Had me look at "eventvwr" and see the warnings and errors on my computer.  I got his number.  He is in Riverside, Ca.  This is a scam - per research on Google.  Microsoft does NOT have employees call people about their computers.  I hope this helps some one else from being scammed.
