"hey, here is the thing we talked about last night"  then there is a link (bit.ly/1fDNJuM), but I'm not clicking on it.

From everything I'm seeing it looks to be a scam.  Hope they don't call back.

I also received a call from this Damon Marshall and he told me a warrant issued for me and they were coming to arrest me at my job. This has to be a scam and it's harrasment. It caused stress and unecessary anxiety.

I got the same crap from Damon Marshall number is 916-500-4945. I called the California State Bar Commission and I am going to file an attorney complaint against this guy. I suggest everyone on here do the same to stop this thief.

They called my direct line at work - had the "Indian-sounding" accent - said it was "Mike Thomas" - yeah, right!  And I'm Cleopatra!  Anyway, he asked for me but I said she's not in can I take a message.  He said to call him back at above #, but the number on our caller ID was "8875" rather than "8857" - PLUS, the same number was calling TWICE AT THE SAME TIME!  (Our lines have call-waiting.)  He said he was from a law office.  AND everything I said echoed.  I hung up!  He called RIGHT BACK and asked why I hung up - I told him that he didn't speak English, the call was echoing, and I said "where's the law office, in India??"

THEN got SEVERAL more calls from 330-856-9865 - caller ID said "Anna Bobak" - this one was "Alex Parker" - more like Abdul Pakistani!  LOL!  Anyway, REALLY had a hard time understanding him - I kept hanging up and he kept calling back - THEN he asked my age, etc. - I said if you're calling me you already know about me AND that I knew they were a SCAM, and that I was in the process as we spoke of completing an online complaint with the FTC (which I did!)  He said "I will not call you any more, ma'am."  We'll see!!  I was laughing at him because now that I know these people are scammers and they don't scare me, I just mess with them!  :)  Except he must have called here about 10 times!

I just got called at work, by this Indian bottom feeder, same thing:  3 lawsuits,blah blah,  I just kept repeating DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN, SEND IT TO ME IN WRITING...until I hung up...Fkn Idiots!!!

I recieved this call and was told that iwould be arrested and taken to jail on three counts of fraud

This man, Mar Thomas from 951-821-8857 has been calling several times a day, stating a lawsuit is filed against me.  I, of cours, told him that I am not available and in the hospital, and wish him good luck on collecting ANYTHING.  Yes, I have filled out loan apps online.  So, now I know.  Also, he says he is with the Law Office of John A. Best.  Really?  Is that the best they can come up with?  I can't wait until he calls again, because I am going to RIP HIS A$$.......I am actually really really excited about this now......These are the kind of people that I get to vent at when all the other things in life FINALLY get me to the exploding point.  Smile, and have a great day!

Robin Brown keeps calling me from this number asks if I am aware of a lawsuit? Respnded "NO' proceeded to tell me to call him back at that number and gave me his employee ID#. Never called him back. Keeps calling when I told him that he really needs to get a life and stop the threats I hung up. He called back left me a message that this is the last call that I will receive and tells me the his next step would be prosecuting me in federal court. WILL NOT RETURN ANY CALLS!

I just returned the call to that number because they had called my job, and my supervisor called me.  It is a scam from filling out online loan forms because this guy, with an Indian accent, said at the very beginning that I had taken out a loan from CashAdvanceUSA, after I drilled questions at him.  After threatening me with the "officers are coming to arrest you" bit, I told him to do what he got to do, and hung up because if you are being sued about a loan, and they call your job, why not just have payroll garnishments done; plus you have to be notified, most of the time they will send you a certified letter that you have to sign for, notifying you of pending actions if you do not respond.  I am giving this piece of information for those who do not know the procedures and process of collection.  Be careful; "this the season" is not only "to be jolly", but also"to be scammed".

Got a call at work saying there was a lawsuit against me.  Had my social and everything.  Said he was the paralegal and to call Damian Marshall at this number.

Got a call  in my office said was Robin Brown from state attorneys office. Keeps repeating same threat that i need to call the number back to talk to the attorney who's last name is Marshall.  Second day in a row that he has called so I answered the phone, in which he said the same thing as on the first call, so then  I ask which state attorney office he was calling from, because generally the state attorneys office would mail a letter notifying the person of a the lawsuit or the police would be at my door.  He told me to Shut up, now I am Pissed so I told him to KISS my A... and hand up.  He then called back to say he was sending the police to  arrest me.  So i called back and had a few choice words in which i told him whoever comes to arrest me will be arrested because I know this is all a SCAM.

The payday loan crap started here and frauds here took full advantage of it and outsourced it. Now it's out of control, and nobody can do a damn thing about it.

I'm lukewarm on the triple-B regarding American firms, never mind South Asian extortion rackets. It's a glorified paid business directory with no legal muscle and a history of payola fraud. As a vehicle for exposure of lawbreaking it's of possible use, but this is weighed against the overall unreliability of its rankings.

I had to get my number changed, I also filed a complaint with the FTC, and notify any financial institutions you do business with.

I got the same call yesterday...I knew it was scam as a co worker went through the same thing several months ago.  These people are pathetic.

Debt is a CIVIL matter, not a CRIMINAL matter.

This number has called me numerous times a day. At first the man (in very poor English) threatened me over voice messages, so I called the number back thinking WTF??? It just kept ringing for the first couple of times then they would pick up and then hang up. Today I get like 5 calls early in the morning andthey are leaving messages including my SS#, stating that they are filing charges against me, he even gave my address!!! How can I stop these people, this is definitely harassment!

got a call again and did not pick up then put my phone on private caller and caled back and the idot when he picked said hello Mother f***** how may I help you and kept saying what the hell do you want and I just started laughing my head off and he said go f*** your self and hung up have not got one call so far and this was about 4 hrs ago and by know I would have gotten at least 12 thank god that I'm retired and he does not have my home phone unlisted but some how he got my cell # and I just turn it off and check after awhile so I guess I pissed him off a little what do you think

A 911 number called me on Thanksgiving and asked me to call this number cause I was being sued under my SS#. but couldn't give any type of info. Than told me because I was calling them so much they were going to have father law actions brought apon me.

Got a call from this number stated his name was Robin Brown and i needed to contact the state attorney office in Los Angeles, CA gave me the number 9518218857 and talk to his supervisor names Damon Morsale. Whoever these people are they are reading from a script because when i asked him what this was all about in just went back restating what he was talking about. It is a scam. Please just ignore their calls.

I was threatened by a man who said I was under a lawsuit with a thick accent. He said I needed to speak with an attorney David Forster. I told him I was aware of the scam & he threatened to call the cops & speak with my job supervisor.
