Just because you think people are being dishonest with you does not make it real. If you are told that the number belong to someone else years ago then suck it up and deal with it. No need to get mean and nasty, just shows what kind of person you really are! Also, you are only don DEBT COLLECTION CALLS because you can't get anything else with that kind of an attitude. Real employers would kick to the curb!

I totally agree for I must have gotten that same person asking to speak to someone rather myself and that person just happened to be my daughter and she called me a liar when I told her that this was not her number. What a B---h she was. Sure hope she calls just one more time. I tried to call the number back and got a message machine telling me to leave a number....ha ha ha yeah right like I was going there...NOT

I just had these guys calling up and yelling at me for some guy named 'jeremy' by some @$#hole saying "dont play jeremy we gat this number from your younger brother" well one that isnt me two i dont HAVE a younger brother and seriesly just becuas someone gives you a f****ng random number doesnt mean its the real one

I guess you have not read the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act under the section titled Harassment or Abuse which states: A debt collector may not engage in any conduct the natural consequence of which is to harass, oppress, or abuse any person in connection with the collection of a debt. I know that you think just because you are not techinally a customer service position you can act any way you would like, but there are rules and guidelines set up by the federal government to protect consumers from collectors like your self. Maybe all you collectors should brush up on your knowledge of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

First of all, you have no need to speak to a supervisor if all you intend on doing is complaining about the way someone talked to you. It's a waste of anyone's time. We do not care if your feelings were hurt or if you are upset. Try being truthful and honest from the get go, stop refusing to identify yourself when someone asks who you are, and stop covering for people. Honesty will get much better results. Get one thing straight, WE ARE NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We do not have to be nice to you or grant your requests. It doesn't matter if you like what we have to say or not. WELCOME TO COLLECTIONS! If you don't like it, you should try paying your bills and get out of collections. Then, you won't have to talk to us at all. And to the person who said they will never move to Minnesota... Good, we don't need debtors here!

The horrible thing's name is Stacey.  She is employed by CPC 800-331-0081.  It is important that you report her to the Better Business Bureau.  After I told her the person she was looking for did not live here, her attitude was like no other.  I even used the 'c' word for the first time ever.  This is how much of a monster she is.  I get that she is angry because she is unskilled labor having to resort to collections as a job but really,I was nice until she came up with this tude!  Sorry for Stacey's lack of job skills and her anger from being lazy and not getting a job skill  but REPORT HER!

I just had the rudest thing (I'd call her a woman but she certainly was not) call me from this number asking for someone who lived here 9 years ago.  No clue what co. or who she was but I am going to report this number to the proper authority tomorrow.

If this is how they conduct business in Minnesota, I would NEVER moved there!!! If that female was in front of me and spoke the way she did on the phone, I would be locked up!! A pure A**HOLE!!! If this was a legit call, then why everytime I asked to speak to a supervisor, She would hang up on me! And you're conducting BUSINESS by talking with such a nasty attitude? This was not accepted in my book!

If all they've got to do is to sit around all day and harrass people, they need to get out and get a real job and stop trying to scam folks. And if they can't give the reason why they're calling, with the info, hang-up!
