got a call from these guys. A guy by the name of Parker Corwell, called from 800-865-9482. Not calling back.

very ignorant man he speaks to you with a strong since of familiarity justy hang up on himn he is off the bad beyond what you can imagine rude

yah same man Matt Nielson left me a msg at around 9am for two consecutive days.

he said it was very urgent that i call back in regards to a very important matter (that he failed to mention).

I just recieved a call from this guy. He was talking about a student loan I got in 2006, but in 2008 I consulated all my loans when I went back to school. I asked for the name of the company and an alternate number so I could speak to someone else because he was very rude and started to yell and then he said I wasn't getting another number that I could use the number on my caller id and hung up on me. What I don't understand is how he got my number and why he called because I know I just signed an agreement with the Department of Education. I truely believe this is a scam because when I asked about any letters being sent out he kept saying his company doesn't have to sent anything it just seemed he wanted money.

I just received the same type of call from Matt Neilson.  He wanted to talk to my ex and told me it was a legal matter and wanted to get "my side of the story."  Thank you all for letting me know that he is full of IT!

I got a call from Matt Nielson too! Left the same message to call him and that it was important. I have not called him back yet.

this is supposed to be a debt collection co. They told me that I have to pay another $3,200.00 on a credit card debt that was frozen 2 years ago. There were two people that have called me. A Matt Neilson and a Bryon McGrath. It is against federal law to add on to a frozen account and change the amount that is owed.

I received a call from this number from a man who said his name was Matt Nielson and wanted me to leave a message for my son tocall him.  I asked if he was trying to collect a debt and he said no, that he was calling about a private matter and just wanted to get my son's side of the story.  He named several other people in our family that were supposedly named as "contacts."  He said he wasn't going to ask me for any information, just to get in touch with my son and let him know that Matt was trying to reach him.  Now I know this is the same tactic everyone faces.  First Investment, the company that holds my grown daughter's car note tried this with me, but much more forcibly and continuously, so I reported them to the Consumer Protection Division of the TX AG's office.  I am going to do the same with this caller because he lied to me about why he was calling me.  I also suspect that I have never been listed as an "alternative contact," but was found as a possible family member through an information service.
