Called two days in a row. No msg left. Reported, blocked and forgotten.
SamtheMan 2014-03-27 22:05:20 Telemarketer
They just called me again and left a message about buying some coins from them. I have bought coins from the US mint and Govmint.com and other companies. I buy most of my coins from the US mint because they are cheaper and coming directly from the US mint itself. I just don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.
SamtheMan 2014-03-25 23:29:13 Telemarketer
I buy coins from the United States Mint online and their privacy policy says they don't give out your information. Maybe the third party contractors do it that they use.
MuscleHead72 2014-03-17 18:50:02 Unknown
They call several times a day. They hang up everytime you answer. They disregard the Do Not Call Registry. I have never done business with them. With tactics like this i never will. You are an idiot for suggesting otherwise.
JinOH 2014-03-07 16:34:42 Unknown
Another idiot that I ignored.
LV Chris 2014-02-27 13:42:22 Unknown
Bob probably works for them.

I too have been receiving these annoying phone calls and I too have done business with Govmint.com. Govmint.com is a legitimate business that I have used. However, I will no longer use them, because of them allowing my personal information to be shared (sold). Doing business online has proven to be more troublesome than convenient do to bulls*** like this.

They call periodically even though they have been blocked from day one. GovMint.com LLC phone is listed as 952-707-7000. I'm not sure if this is the same person that uses 952-707-7200.
GN 2014-01-03 14:26:17 Telemarketer
I also was a former customer of gov mint. No more!
flbeach 2013-12-20 17:15:41 Unknown
Just got a call from 952-707-7200 on my cell. didn't recognize # .Did not ans.
Tobin 2013-12-17 22:25:31 Unknown
Yes its Gov. Mint / First federal, if you buy somthing from the catalog or website you get a personal account manager (Sales Rep.) who will bug you to no end, I know, I worked there for Stauer another sister company in the same building. And no they will not honour the DNC list as a sale is considered solicitation for further contact. It's in the fine print.
Anthony 2013-11-26 19:39:43 Telemarketer
Not sure why all these people are saying they don't leave messages. I just missed a call from them, and they left a message. It's First Federal Coin, like others have said.
Skip B. 2013-11-13 18:33:15 Unknown
First call from952-707-7200 was today,11/13/13. I NEVER answer ANY calls unless they are on my contact list.
Richard 2013-11-07 00:46:26 Telemarketer
This is GovMint/First federal coin, they WILL call you if you have given them any info by calling their sales 800 number.
Another note: The company itself is a scam pretending to be the actual US Mint.
carl 2013-11-02 13:52:14 Unknown
Male caller was babbling about unintelligible nonsense and pretended to be friends with my family but was actually a telemarketer/con artist/thief or who knows, Probably a predator for sure.
Lora 2013-10-30 14:09:21 Unknown
Called my cellphone and did not leave a message. If I don't recognize a number I don't answer it - if they want me they will leave a message.

I too am receiving calls from this (952) 707-7200 telemarketing outfit on my cellphone. I purchased merchandise from the US Government Mint as well. What a racket.
Jim Mac Bean 2013-10-22 00:20:39 Unknown

I'm busy at work and I get these stupid phone calls from 952-707-7200. Where are they getting my name?
DrBarron 2013-05-21 22:41:46 Unknown
This company are nothing by jack***es. They would call me over and over again telling me I had a Capital One account that was in collections. So after so many calls I did the following.
1) On two calls I did a 3 way call and had Capital One on the phone with all of us. Capital One told them they had the WRONG person. They told Capital One "How can I believe you, you are just a friend of (then they gave my name and SSN) and then stopped the call.
2) When they would call I would not even let them start talking. I started by saying, before you go any where with your call I want you to know by law I am recording this call. Everything you say will be recorded and turned over to my lawyer.
It was funny, putting them on the spot and the calls stopped for a few weeks. Then I found that I could BLOCK numbers with the company I have for Cable and phone. So I did. And I also put voice message on any call coming from a list of number or a set name that company uses. No more calls.

A friend has used a different technique. When he orders anything on-line he posts most requested information but not all. If he's ordering some item, his name and address are posted with valid data but he uses the contact telephone number of the government-run FCC as his telephone number. Let the FCC handle telemarketer calls, he says.

I am sure a spurned contractor has a way of finding out how to reach you if you have an old debt with him or her. The signed contract!
Another clue, when searching the web for that number, see how many people are asking the same question:
who is calling me from this number. Big fat red signal here.
Rob Carter 2013-04-24 03:40:06 Telemarketer
This is the telephone number of the New York Mint, a private coin dealer, not affiliated with the U.S. Mint. Caller I.D. identifies the caller as "Coins."
Goat 2013-03-28 16:27:46 Unknown
I've received 19 calls from this number. I entered it as "Spam Number" in my phone so I know who it is. I used to just not answer the number, but lately I've been pressing "Accept", then I just lay the phone down.
Goat 2013-02-04 20:26:03 Unknown
I get tons of calls from this number. I named it "Scam Number" so I know it right away. I used to never answer it, but lately I've been pressing "accept" and then set the phone down.

I too am a victim of unwanted calls from this company and after much research, there are 7+ company entities that are under this one business entity and they trade information back and forth. If you have bought from Nexten, Stauer, Govmint, New York Mint, First Federal coin corp., 1st. Federal Coins, Preferred Customer Club, Shop at Home (acquired by them in 2008/2009), & all offices are under the company name/place named Asset Marketing Services inc. In Burnsville, MN.
So, if you have purchased anything from any of these companies (everything from expensive coins to jewelry to floor revive, etc.), they will claim that they are able to call anyone which they say then becomes a customer. Here's what you can do: call them and ask them to remove you from their call list and document the time, the date, and with whom you spoke . Tell them that you are documenting this information and if they violate this request, you will report them and they will be prosecuted. If you would like it to stop, this will (should) work.
Another interesting bit of info, is that you can read about this company on several complaint websites, including www.ripoffreport.com
If you've been a victim of purchasing over valued coins, there is a report to assist with procedures for possible remedies. I hope this helps.
