Dial 9 - what kind of idiots do they think they are dealing with.
In some cases, when you trigger a response, it may not go to a live agent, it could for all we know - charge my cell phone with some fee. This is a collection agency, I cancelled my service with Bell 4 months ago, They attempted to charge me an extra month, which I disagreed with, the end date and their bill differed by 2 weeks, I finally got the correct amount issued by mail and paid it accordingly. The PVR receiver was returned by Purolater shortly afterwards.
The amount was paid electronically so i have no outstanding debt to this company, but I still get these occasional calls from their collectors, typical a**holes - very threatening and almost comical in their demands.
I paid the 71.02 owing, so escalate as much as you want, hopefully it is costing them to pursue this. The tracking information indicates the PVR Receiver has been received, so if there was a job to do, it will be fruitless.

Bell will never receive my business again for anything. I had been a client for 5 years, I wanted to try another vendor that provided a better price for similar if not better service. I should of ended my association with this company years ago, they had added a thumb to the scale many times - overcharging for Data transfers, ending promotions without advising the client, sweet talking me in to staying by offering me sh*t programs for an extra 10 here and there, then jacking up the price after 90 days - of course my fault for not paying attention to the price goughing. None of us should have to deal with Bell or the other big players and be treated like commmon criminals and have bounty hunters harass you for an insignificant amount. I can understand if I was several months negligent in paying my bill, I think what they have done is make me a disgruntled ex customer and if anyone wants to listen to me, i will tell everyone, anywhere, anytime, what I think about Ma Bell and other scum sucking degenerates that adhere to the same kind of heavy handed techniques employed by this company and its agents. Bill collecting is not a career, but the desperate act of last chance losers that need a job, because they have no or marginal skills to make them employable. Hide behind a telephone and harass little old ladies and earn a paltry commission for your efforts. many times the recipient may of fallen behind or is struggling with a job loss or economic hard times, a professional would seek to find a solution and work with the client to make amends, but this company seems to like the confrontational approach and their methods are truly disturbing on many levels.

Well...if they're a Collection Agency it would explain why the jack*** that called me and didn't identify himself insisted that I was someone I wasn't.  Refused to check if he called the correct number and after I insisted I knew my own EFFing name multiple times, he finally finally check the number he dialled and hung up without an apology.

Got a call from Nick Hines saying if I wanted the arrangement I needed to call back and there's nothing else he can do.

It's a collection agency called Global International.

Left message on home phone to call or Mr. Beaver would have to take action.  Told to call 1-866-993-1995 Ext 8655...won't be calling.

It would make sence that this is Global Collection network, I owe them money and I see this 413 number on my phone all the time, I never answer since I muted calls from that number (good ole black berry)

9054138655 call my cell phone twice. I googled the number and then called it back from my house phone. The person who answered didn't say a company name they just said Hello. I asked who this was and they rattled off my home number, silly me forgot to block it, then I asked again who he was and he said he is from Global Collection agency and said something to do with my credit being bad I didn't say another word, I just hung up. Don't know if they are legit or not.

I received a message to call 1-866-535-0623 ext 8701.  Firm and pressured voice stating he was Mr. Bizerro and that he and his colleagues had been trying to reach me for some time without success.  Time sensitive matter.  File # 3686771.

Found a message saying that Nick Hines needed a call back, that it was urgent I call back.  Number he left was 1-866-535-0623 ext8723.  I called back and left a message that I had returned his call.  I won't be answering any others. I'm in Northern Ontario.

Got another call on Apr 09/09. I didn;t answer.

Got a call from this number on Apr 02/09. I never answered it... just let it ring (live in Eastern Canada).

Had a message on my machine from Mr. Beaver saying a phone call was required for a matter at their office.  This matter needed my "immediate attention to avoid any possible further action from occurring against [me].

Number to call back was 1-866-993-1995 ext. 8655.  Message was repeated.

Very vague information, sounds very suspicious.  Not calling back.

I recieved a call from Mr. Beaver asking me to call 1-866-993-1995 ext 8655 to avoid further action being taken against me. Left a message but no return call.

I have been getting calls from this number as well and when I have tried to call back I get a recorded message that says to stay on the line. Eventually they said to leave a message on their answering service. I have left 2 messages telling them that they have the wrong number . My call was from a Mr. Singh. At present he is supposed to call me back in the next 24hrs. Also they said that further action would be taken. The number I was to call was 1-866-535-0623 ext. 6604

Got this call from a Mr.beaver telling me to phone back this toll free number at 1-866-993-1995 ext.8655. Apparently if i didn't phone this number back that "further action would be taken against me". Yeah right!

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.
They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

I too have started to receive a number of calls from this number.  the first time, they didn't even know my first name, they said this was an urgent matter and wanted my postal code.  I didn't give it too them and the guy started to get mad at me.  I asked him what he wanted and he insisted on wanting my postal code when I didn't give it to them he hung up on me.  They have called me everyday since it started.  very annoying.

Think collection agency. Don't talk to them until you receive something in the mail and then you don't have to deal with them but deal with the original creditor.

male voice (computer generated) asked for my name and said it was not a telemarketer, i had an important matter in his office that required my immediate attention, no name left just the 1-866-993-1995 number. Call display showed 905-413-8655. Funny if it was so important why did i not receive something in the mail, i did move last YEAR but i have had my mail forwarded for the year!?

And there is no such company as Capital One at Global...if it continues to call i will block the number.

i JUST called this number and got told "CAPITAL ONE AT GLOBAL" .so NOW you know WHO it is.

Been receiving calls from 905-413-8655 for months daily.  This is a standard script from a few different men who never say what company they are with or anything more than the threat of "further action would be taken..." if I do not return the call.  I never answer, and no further action has been made, besides the annoying calls.

Received same call, same name Mr.Beaver left same message call back before further action would be taken.....but never asked for anyone by name.  Does anyone know who they are?

They call with an important message for someone at this household, to press 9 if you are this person. No one has pressed 9 so far. I finally called back the number on the display..it was a guy who wanted me to identify myself. I gave a phony name. He prceeded to alugh at me sayin that he had call display, nowing my reall name. Then he talks to another guy in the back ground laughing, both of them, at the fact I gave the wrong name not what was on thier caller id. THe second guy gets on the phone, asks me to identify myself. I said I did already when you were laughing in the background. He says " You want to hear something even more funnier lady" and hung up on me. Heads up...when the call was answered to begin with it was a simple "Hello"...no business name or nothing..just a guy who said Hello
