This same number has been calling for several weeks. They always ask for some variation of my wife's maiden name, and there is a racket like a calling center in the background. When I ask to be removed from their calling list, they say that it's not a company calling and they don't have a DNC list. However, when I DO ask who it is they won't tell me. They call very early in the morning and after 9pm about three times a week. Very annoying

Whoever this is has been calling for about 2 weeks now...just once a day so far, and usually right around the same time every afternoon...the call comes from Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I don't answer.  Does anyone know if your phone can be programmed to block these calls without purchasing equipment/going through the phone company and paying extra?

Always hangs up. No message.

I just add them to my list as "Don't Answer" and set the contact ring style to silent. Now if they call I don't get notification. Simple solution.

what can we do to stop this calls?  It's annoying.

Calls several times a day. Is a machine, so not possible to tell them to back off.

Calls started a couple weeks ago. I don't answer unknown numbers, but I dlways check to see if they left a message, and they never do. Why should I give a bleep who it is if they are not willing to inform me of who they are, and why they are calling?! I'm glad I googled it.

Here's a suggestion -- instead of complaining here (where nothing will come of it), go sign up for the federal do not call list and file a complaint against these companies when they call again:

www.donotcall.gov

Also, check to see if your state's attorney general has a similar program.

I received two harassing calls from this number this morning, trying to locate my son.  When I explained I did not have a forwarding number for my son, both callers became argumentive and sarcastic. One even repeated my home address.  I grew frustrated and hung up on both of them.
 I'd really appreciate NOT receiving calls from this number again.

I have a Target card that needs to be paid. This is the collection agency they turned it into. They call 5 million times a day and night.

Total jerks!  I tried to explain to them I blew out both my knees, lost my job and apt due to the injury and have no money.  The guy called me a liar and told me I was making stuff up.  I told him he was rude and that I could prove all of it and he hung up on me.

Now they call 4-5 times a day, but never leave messages and if I answer they never say anything (but I can hear people talking and office sounds in the background) and then they hang up on me.

I keep getting repeating calls on a daily basis from this number. Both daytime and nighttime with no message. They are really getting on my last nerve.

yep, these guys are trying to be slick.  They called me saying they were an Acura dealer calling for some other guy... I called them back and said that this dealer keeps calling my number for a car offer.  Then they said they weren't a dealership, and asked if they were speaking to "me"- I said "no" and asked what company it was- Northland Group. I just passed the call off as being weird and said goodbye.

This number has been calling me for some time, but i just ignore the call. Then yesterday i get to work and I have a message to call this number!!! I have no idea of who they are or what they want but I told them I wasn't interested in anything. This morning at 7am they called again, lucky for them I didnt hear my phone ringing or the person calling would have got an earful from me for calling that early.

this number has called our house endlessly asking for a person we never heard of.  I suppose they'll keep calling.

Got call showing up this number (952-835-1595), said to me "personal business" regards. I answered don't work on "personal business". Then, the lady hung up the phone.

These morons called my parents last night and I called them back.  She said they were going to offer me a settlement on a Target account and I told her to put it in writing.  Well of course it never did come to the fax.  So I typed a letter and faxed it and mailed it and gave them a FULL cease and desist..

Guess what they called my CELL phone...This is an FDCPA no no...

I like to sue collection agencies...and to the user that said "pay your bills" well I hope your a CA and that you have landed in my radar!

I owe $100 on a Target Card bill that because of Katrina have been unable to send in. And Target has sent my account to this collection company. I did get something in the a=mail from them once and they call constantly

Someone from this # has called a few times and I did answer once.They tried getting info from me and wouldnt say what the call was about.She said if you'll verify your address I tell you, I said "no way" then she says I'll talk to you tomorrow, as if she plans on harrasing us.she asked for my wife by her maiden name that she hadn't used in over 5 years... we're aware of no pass due bills.

I have received 2-3 calls from this number this week...they don't call every day...yet...but from what I have read here they most likely will start this...and to the person who said something about "maybe you should pay your bills on time.." has nothing to do with this...they are not allowed to harrass people and unfortunately most of the time these days they just call at random trying to sucker someone into sending them some money...I have known people who have done this and didn't owe the jerks anything!  Go figure.  What I would like to know is, why isn't there a law that prevents this before it begins???

Its been recently that I have been getting phone calls from this number 952-835-1595 it caller ID comes up minnesota beats me who it could be maybe I'll pick up one day hope its not someone out to get unsuspecting people

They call me but when I pick up nobody makes a sound.

Caller calls all hours of the day and night  and never leaves message, also called my work!

I answered and they asked for my wife,I said she was unavailable and asked if I could take a message and she said "No message,thanks".
