i'm calling the corporate office of wells fargo and reporting him cause he keeps calling me and my husband. then i'm going to file a compliant with the better business bureau.

I would like to take part in this posting.  I also worked with Joel several months back.  Yes, Joel can be slightly pushy and I could see how some would be misinformed by his approach, but if I may make one thing clear, Joel gave me an education on credit which no one has ever cared to share with me and he also put my mind at ease with my finances even though I did not do business with Joel on a new loan that day.  I would imagine Wells Fargo does the right thing and the only reason I came across this post was because I was trying to find Joel's number. I may actually do some business with him in the very near future.  Let me make another point, does any other bank call you to let you know the opportunities you have with them and the ideas they share?  Wells is the only one that calls me and I actually appreciate it even if I choose not to do business at that moment.  I would recommend speaking with Joel if you would like to make changes to your financial portfolio.

Hello, I think you should listen to what Joel has to say, He called me and I know wells fargo is a good name. So I took the time with Joel and went into his office. Joel ended up cleaning up ALL of my credit card debt which was at 15-25% that were all spiked in the last year. Now I am putting 300 dollars back into my pocket every month and getting out of my credit card debt in 1/4 of the time.

If you people are upset about the phone calls maybe you should help yourself get out of debt instead of hanging up the phone and paying these credit card companies millions of dollars!

I got a call from him too.  I kept telling him that I didn't want to consolidate and he finally got pissed off, told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and slammed the phone on me.

i don't think this is the original sales guy, sounds like another customer having a smart mouth or who knows, maybe it's his boss writing using that language.

So HE was responsible for keeping YOU on the phone for 20 minutes? Give me a break, the fact that YOU agreed to talk for so long has probably gotten you on alot more scammers lists, they share this info you know, and even if you didn't bite on the offer this time you've proven you're a patsy.

When you have a "pushy" salesman on the phone, remember the motions you performed to answer the call, and reverse them (that is, hang the fukk up), even better blow a whistle or an airhorn in their ear then hang the fukk up.

I was starting to recieve calls from a guy named Joel the past week. He left me messages saying that i need to contact him right away concerning my well fargo account. i was like what the hell.. i never was late with my car payment, i knew they were changing thier website where to make payments so i thought they were contacting thier customers to let them know the change.

well i was very wrong. i called him back a few days ago, he kept me on the phone for at least 20 minutes, asking me how my car was doing, questioning me on payment and interest rate, then he started to question me on my financial status saying that i have debt and i should open an account with them, i said no not at this time, i have my bills under control, he kept saying why? that's not excuse, i said look here, i'm calling you from my work phone wasting my time, keep me on the phone anymore with you and i will not be able to make my car payment, he said that's not my problem, i said really, you are sitting here harassing me talking about my financial status which is not your business. he said i'm just trying to help you, i said well your not and i slam the phone down.

what a jerk...i hope they google their numbers are realize the sales calls need to stop because people like me will rip them into a new one...
