I just received the 407 call back text too.  At first after reading all the posting I thought it was realated to me being a past insurance agent.  I alway get calls to buy list to sell insurance.  However now I'm thinking the guy about the cragslist might be right too, since I buy and sell items on craigslist.

I would also like to point out that Lian is right. I have friends and family that do not pay for text and if they get one the cost is $10.00 for that month.  So thinking its okay to text anyone is crazy!

Don't respond and delete text.  Be careful who you give your phone # to. Only give it out if you initiated the call or you are familiar with the entity who called you. At least they don't have your name, DOB, answer SS#.

I also received a text from this company. I have filed a complaint with the FCC under the CAN-SPAM act.

     http://www.fcc.gov/guides/spam-unwanted-text-messages-and-email

Hopefully this will get their attention and they will realize they are breaking the law. By the way, in order for an "opt out" to be valid the recipient of the message must have first opted in to receive messages, which I have not. The complaint I have filed reflects this.

Under the FCC?s rules, commercial email messages may only be sent to your wireless device via the Internet if you have provided your ?express prior authorization.? Commercial email senders may request that you provide this authorization orally or in writing (email or letter). They must tell you the name of the entity that will be sending the messages and, if different, the name of the entity advertising products or services. All commercial email messages sent to you after you?ve given your authorization must allow you to revoke your authorization, or ?opt out? of receiving future messages. You must be allowed to opt out the same way you ?opted in,? including by dialing a short code. Senders have 10 days to honor requests to opt out.

Have a nice day info@chjgroup.

I too received a text from this company.  Working in Quality and Training I can state that not only is it unethical to send out these text messages (how does this company know these individuals have a text package and are not billed for these messages?  What if multiple companies practiced this on the premise that one message doesn't cost much? It would force subscription to a text or blocking of it entirely.)  Secondly,  When reading negative reviews about a company you want to defend- it is certainly counter productive to insult those who are weary of said company.   If everything is on the up-and-up it would be conducive to positive business to simply offer an apology and explanation or simply state facts in a non-aggressive manner rather than counter attack when we are conditioned already to believe most if not all of these sort of communications are scams and can really ruin someone.  So, Mr defender- your counter strike has only offered more reason to steer clear of a company such as this if for no other reason than being attacked when one assumes a grey area to be more dark than light.  Nice job offering assurance to those who might have been on the fence.

I received a text saying "Please Call 407-602-7407" showing the sender to be freeinfo@chjgroup.com  This  may very likely have been related to a fraudulent craigslist posting which I will explain in more detail.  A half hour prior to receiving the text I'd discovered someone posting a craigslist ad which mimicked an ad for a job opening I advertised the day before.  I had my office manager send a reply cover letter and use my cell phone number as the contact if they wanted a resume.  shortly there after the text was received.  Note-my business and my ad are highly unique, the location was listed in the same vicinity of a rather small city.  It was definitely a scam.  If anyone who's posted having been called/texted from that number it may be craigslist scam-related.

I have received text messages from homeprotection@chjgroup.com, previously I have been recieving text from info@chjgroup.com etc.., I though they will go away but they seems to persistent in harassing me. I reviewed all the comments and found that all those who have favorably view of this company are rather rude people. This behavior speaks a lot about these people. They should not text me at the first place, but if they did (for the sake of earning living as one said earlier) and chose to no to respond, they should leave me alone after couple of attempts. Not disclosing what is the purpose in the text is simply wrong and these hostile comments from them makes it clear to me that these are not type of folks I will like to do business with. I am respectful in my comments and I hope they will show the grace too.

I have no plan to call back for the simple reason that their message does not state clearly why they want me to call them. By the way my phone is pay as you go and it does cost me when they text me, you are worried about your livelihood how about mine?

By the way now they are using 904-245-1838

Nope, you are wrong. The number has already been obtained. Its already known to be a working number. If you call and press 3 there is no additional information gathered. So there is nothing new learned when this occurs.

So it would make not sense for any company to set up a system like this send texts out in hopes that you call and press 3 so they can sell your number when they already knew it to be a working number.  Instead if you really think about it, it would make most sense to try and get more information to sell.

And if you want to know why people work for a company like this, you only have to blame your government. The unemployment rate in american is HUGE and its growing every day. Corporate america has turned its back on the people and we are left to suffer. Because we have little to no creation jobs in America there is little work, and little advancement of employment.

This company has not stolen anything, and has not sold off anyone phone number or information. You think Americans would be happy knowing other Americans are getting employment. I mean seriously would you rather be getting a text message or having someone robbing, raping, and killing you for the money you have in your pocket? Because honestly the higher our unemployment rises the more lilkely it will happen to you since people get so desperate for an imaginary object called money.

Why is this chjgroup texting me? Why don't they tell me who they are and what they want? Anyone that does that is phising for something or trying to steal something. NO LEGIT company will lower themselves to send you a text and tell you to call them.

Funny thing is your 100% wrong. You have no proof for your claim.

Everyone you should listen to him don't call back and report it!

Here is the real deal. You can report it all you want its a private message that gives educational information. You don't want it, fine that's your choice. You want to report chjgroup.com fine do it, but until you call and press 3 to be removed from the list, you have nothing to report. You received a private text message, your not being harrassed untill you ask for it to stop.

So to recap you don't call and press 3 you WILL receive more text messages.

You call and press 3, your number is removed from the list, and is NOT resold to anyone.

If I seem to "know to much" about chjgroup.com its probably cause I'm right. Every one have a safe holiday season out there.

This is a huge phishing fraud and a scam.  These shills are trying to capture the numbers of suckers so they can continue to spam them and sell the numbers to other scam/fraud artists.

Don't be fooled - this is a scam and a fraud folks!

File complaints with the Federal DO NOT CALL list and Attorney General.

I know first hand that you have not received a text EVERY day. Why do you people feel the need to lie. I also know first hand this is NOT a SCAM. No one is being stolen from, they are only helping people. If you dont like being texted call and press 3. This is being operated  by a marketing company, for a public adjuster referral service. You want other FACTS just ask. But please stop telling lies to make your self look harassed.

I seriously doubt you even got 1 phone call from this number. Oh interesting fact: they are not selling anything, so they can legally text you all they want. You want them to stop? Call and press 3. I got the text when they were using a 407 number called pressed 3, and have not been texted back at all. Even after they changed numbers.

You have the wrong company. This company that has nothing to do with chjgroup.com. the LLC does not have anything to do with this. If you call the number (as I did cause I'm NOT paranoid freak) you will find its free information about public adjusters and insurance adjusters. The very first thing you hear is you can opt out by pressing 3. After listening to the information you can leave your info for a call back, I left mine. I got a call back a couple of hours later and was given more detailed info on public adjusters and asked if I had any home damage. Told them no and ended the call. Then I called the texted number back and pressed 3. I haven't gotten any additional texts.

So because I took one for the team I found it is a public adjuster referal service NOT chjgroup llc. I also discovered if you call and press 3 you get removed from the list. I looked this number up to see if anyone knew what it was about, no one did, so I did the recon.

I also did legal recon. Its not illegal to text you asking to call and providing free info with out solitation. If you request a call back you open your self to be solicited. I hope everyone has found this helpful have a happy holiday season.

I got a text from info@chjgroup.com, please call 954-251-0260.

I have a Verizon plan and a Droid Incredible. I can block a caller by adding the number to my contact list and then enabling the block call feature in my contact listing. I have used this feature and works well for voice calls but I have not tried it for texts. Should work, we will see...
