gET MANY CALLS DAILY FROM THIS NUMBER AND OTHERS LIKE IT. IDK why they think they will ever get thru and be successful in this manner, no-one does business from cold calls over the phone, seriously! What a waste of time and resources.

A company claiming to give free medical supplies keeps calling us non stop.  When you press one (1) to speak to them and tell them to stop calling they hang up on you.  Next time they call, I will blow a whistle in their ear, maybe that will cause them to stop calling and bothering us.  Maybe we should all do that.  Get a whistle and blow it in their ears.  (I will warn them 1st, so they know if they don't remove our tele number and choose to call us again they will get a very loud whistle blown in their ear.)

Their number is 954-271-3140.  We will also report them to the Attorney General's office, but our phone companies still need to block these numbers and/or trace them better than what they are doing.  We have the technology to trace, so what is the problem here... why aren't the phone companies doing their job here?  I hope the phone companies can do their job instead of passing the buck that they cannot figure out how to stop these calls.

Ever since my 87 year old mother had gone through cardiac rehab several weeks ago I?ve been barraged with calls from numerous states purportedly offering a free medical alert system. I receive a minimum of 4 or 5 calls each day from the following numbers:

I have no doubt that this is a medical alert phishing scam  (http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/personalf ... -alert/2397189/>) and originates from a single source. I don?t know how these people obtained my unlisted cell phone number since the hospital?s disclosure of personal or medical information is a violation of HIPAA confidentiality, subjecting the violator to fines and penalties. Most medical care providers avoid this like the plaque.

My advice is to not answer the call and do not respond to these people in any way. Once they know your phone number is legitimate they will continue calling and may pass your number on to other scammers. It?s a PIA but I would also file a complaint with the FCC and Federal Trade Commission. The more complaints they receive the more likely they will launch an investigation.

Any scum who prey on the elderly are the lowest of bottom feeders and need to be eliminated from society.

These people are very persistent.  Do they ever really hook anybody?  Probably the elderly and then scam them!  Once again the Do Not Call Registry is a waste of time!

I too am getting these calls.  I am hoping the Diabetes Association isn't giving out our information without our permission.

And again I said they call from so many numbers check this out these are all the numbers they have called me from in a weeks time!! Not even a month I say a week 5 to 15 times a day!!! You losers should get tired of my call blocker. LOL!!! Foolisheness!!

3 calls within 5 hrs......STOP! ( Not answering and no voice mail)

I've received several calls from several different states and this is one of them. It is automated and I think it's a scam.  How do I get them to stop calling?!?!

They leave msg. saying American Diabetes Association.  They had called and left eight (8) messages Thurs and Friday using a different number which I blocked, and today, Monday morning, they are at it again using this number now.  I called up the real Am D Assoc and was told that no it is not them calling me and they are aware of the problem and their legal dept. is working on it.

Call on a daily basis ALL day! its for an emergency alarm system. I called the number back recording says " hit any digit to remove yourself from this system."  Well see!!!

I've been getting calls from this number for the past week.  This is a recorded man's voice calling me 5 to 6 times a day telling me that I won a diabetic meter.  I'm not even diabetic.

Calls repeatedly 5 times within an hour. Answered thelast one and it was a recording. Something I'd been selected for from diabetic supply. Too bad I'm not nor is anyone in my family diabetic. Please quit calling me!!

I've now received four calls from this number in past half hour.

Probably six calls in the past two days, after going through CID.

Has called repeatedly.
