THE ONLY WAY WE COULD STOP TELEMARKETERS IS BY NOT ANSWERING. I KEEP MY ANSWERING MACHINE OFF.
I CAN ALWAYS RETURN MISSED  LEGITIMATE  CALLS. EXACTLY AS MS. WALKER SAYS, THEY'D BE OUT OF BUSINESS IF WE ALL STOPPED ANSWERING.

Don't answer! If NO ONE ever answered their calls, surely, they would stop! we just get frustrated by trying to ask them to stop. to telemarketers it just means there is a "live one" . They will keep calling and sharing the number.

A lot of times numbers are dialed automaticly going down the number list as 1....  2...  3... etc.  the computer doesn't know when the number is actually assigned to a person or not.  so when you pick up and answer they can now sell you number to other telemarketers as "good" number.  However i have been unable to learn how to stop the calls.  I am on the the "do not call list" for all my cells and home numbers.  does anyone have a suggestion on how to stop other than blocking the calls?

Guess what. You can bet that -- It's Rachel! Ann! Heather! Card Services! If you get a call with a name/number you don't recognize, don't pick it up. And for heaven's sake, don't push any buttons. You will go directly to the "chump list", and telemarketers will flock to your number.

If someone was not making money from this scam, this would have ended a long time ago.

they call me all the time. I have told them numerous times to take me off the list and they just hang up on me and keep calling. Guess i will have to have them blocked on my phone.

I started receiving calls from this number also shortly after filling of info online inquiring about refinance. Annoying will be blocking

Several months back I had requested information on home refi and I get calls from all over the place regarding that.  So based on the comments above this is probably exactly what they are...a solicitation for home refi.  Like above comments they left no message on my phone either....They are going on my blocked list.....

No clue who this is. Does not leave a message. Calls every day.

I get the same calls. I don't answer, and they don't leave messages.

They call 3 - 4 times a day and never leave a message. Seems like they are just dialing numbers in the hope some idiot falls for their story, what ever it, is as they do not leave messages and I do not take calls from people I do not know.

I called this number and it says law office of (couldn't understand the name).  I waited for an answer and they said they were responding to a request to lower my payments on my mortgage.  They also wanted to know if I was behind and how many months.  It seems to be some type of solicitation.  Their only interested if you are more than 2 months behind.

Called. Did not pickup because did not recognized the number.. Left a voicemail saying hello hello. And, when they did not get an answer hung up. Female voice who did not identify themselves.

Claimed to be law firm that would lower my interest rate.  The girl sounded really sleepy or drunk, so I kindly asked them not to call me any more.

I got a call from this number and its "Law Firm" wanting to act on my behalf with my mortgage company.  Asked if my payment was behind and I said yes.  They told me the firm worked on behalf of some Obama Home Act to reduce my payments.  The will file a case against my Mortgage company and I did not have to pay any payments because they would get the interest rate reduced and I would not pay any payments to my mortgage company.  Eventhough it was stressed that I did not have to pay my mortgage and the interest rate would be reduce and that would decrease my mortgage by $300 to $400 dollars.  I asked what is the cost for this and I was told that the first month of service is $899, the next month $599 (mine you they lost me when the said "Law Firm".  I told him I could speak with them next Monday and I was told not to make my mortgage payment before i spoke to them.  He wanted to send me documentation about the company. I said no i will speak with you on Monday.  If i just told you i am only 1 month behind and i am schedule to make the payment Friday to be current, why would you tell me not to pay my mortgage?  Don't sound right to me.  Also, the lady that answered the call said the BBB sent them my information.  Really?

This number calls me multiple times everyday on my cell phone, usually no one there when I answer, I have stopped answering.

This phone number calls me up 10 time a day.

Loud background with no one talking to me, its like they are butt dialing me.  I dont know anyone in Florida and certainly not from some law office.

I get a call from these people EVERYDAY. I have called back and get so frustrated by rude a-- people that I hang up. But not before I tell them to stop or They will be reported to authories

I got a call from that phone number this morning... I called it back and they answered the phone "Law Office"...
