I get this call like 5 times a day and they never ever leave a message

This phone number is supposed to belong to a "LOAN" specaility company.  Its a Scam... Report them

I recently answered some online surveys for some extra money...apparently, i gave my cell phone number to one who passed it on to these crazy people...i have gotten at least ten calls since yesterday on my cell from this exact number.

Broward County Florida (Ft. Lauderdale) telemarketer calls incessantly via auto-dialer. I called them back anonymously (using CID block & my free LD plan). Young Negro woman (speaks Ebonics) answers after lengthy delay of muzak w/ greeting of "National Education Online Center." This isn't legit as it can't be found when Googled. They're attempting to disguise the real purpose of their telemarketing. You can ingore these pests.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this #. No one was there and they hung up.

i just called them and a nice latino sounding young woman asked if she could speak with (my name) lets say its joe. asked if she could speak with joe. This was weird cause i was calling them and the first thing they said was if they could speak with joe. thats me remember. so i said " yeah, thats me suga". (i didnt really say suga but that would be cool if i did i think.)  and she said she wanted to speak with me about information about colleges in my area from some company which i forgot the name of even though i just  called two minutes ago and it would probabley help people on this web page know who is calling them. sorry. i forgot. anyway, dumb sounding and mumbling i told her to take me off the list and not to call me cause i wasnt intersted in college right now. she, nicely, somewhat mumbling her self probabley cause i was mumbling said she would ta ta take mmm me off the list. i said thank you and she said what and i said what back and just hung up.

I've been receiving calls from this number for a few days now. I just called the number and a male answered and told me he had been trying to reach someone named Jessica who had given him this number. I told him I wasn't Jessica and asked him to remove my number from his calling list. He said he would, but that remains to be seen. He also mentioned that he represented some sort of educational organization. I'm guessing it's a collection agency, and since my cell phone and cell phone number are new to me, it's possible that the number formerly belonged to someone who defaulted on a loan or something. If they keep calling me, I'd appreciate knowing what steps to take to make it stop. Good luck to everyone else!

I have been getting calls from it too . I haven't been home to answer yet . But the last time this happened from another one just like this -- I answered yelling "HI" "HELLO" and paused for a moment and a person actually started talking to me . That one was from googleprofits . So try it . It might work . Pretty much , if you type down your personal # on the WorldWideWeb you will be getting some kind of annoying calls sooner or later . Remember - it is your own doing for putting it online . This is also how bill collectors find you . They have people working for them - looking for #'s on myspace , yahoo , aol , singshot , any and everywhere people go to reach out to thier friends , family and others !! Yes the bill collecters pay people like you and me , to do searches for names , even to become friends with the person , so you can obtain the # . A friend of mines , Aunt was working for one of them in Illinios and she quit the job when they asked her to do it . But alot of people will just do it for a paycheck . People be wise , be carefull ! No one there when you pickup. get about four a day.

ive gotten about 20 calls from these people and everytime i call back, nobody answers!

company keeps calling then hanging up then asked to remove me and she girl named angel hung up

It's about college or something I called them back, they want to verify if you wanted info on colleges in your area or something. I don't know, I had them take me off of their call list. call the number and tell them to take yours off as well.

I got a call during my lunch today, but no message left.

I get the same call the same amount of times daily -
no one is on the line... UGH!!!

I get out of my wheel chair to answer and they wait till I say YO twice and then hang up on me.

Started up yesterday.  Getting them ALL the time.  seriously.  haven't answered one yet though.  don't want to complete or verify a connection.

I got a call from this number this morning @ 10:55. I didn't answer and they left no v/m. I googled the area code and saw this page under one of the search result pages.

Ditto ... also received two calls today on my cell ... I didn't answer and no message left.  Didn't recognize the # so did a quick websearch and found this forum.

I just got one...no message left. I too am on the "do not call" registry.

This Florida number continues to call me and doesn't leave messages.  I'm not answering.  I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry.  I have no clue how this person got my number. I researched the number and found out it's a land line.  I guess I'm not the only one they're calling.
