We get a call about every six months - you will  note when you call them, you don't get a person just a voice mail.  When it comes to the bottom line - they want your money.   In the news business, you are usually paid for your time and expertise, not the other way around.  Don't fall for this scam.

This is a scam that says they are with The Economic Report hosted by Greg Gumbel.

They prey on Universities, small-town government, and small companies.

I just got a call today, 10 Dec 09, from someone with the "Economic Report" with Greg Gumbel. 954 312 0482 x 1233.  It smells fishy.

They just want your money - don't do it.

Depends what you think is liget - want your $$$ to pay for scheduling - just asnother scam as far as we are concerned

Thank you for the heads up, I hate when these groups waste my time and pretend that they are not selling something, I would actually listen to their pitch if they told me upfront what it costs and be forward about it.

I just got off the phone with the scheduler saying it was for a program on Fox Business News.

Evan Golden left 3 messages once to call 954-312-0488 ext. 2020, and 954-312-0480 ext. 2020 the other two times.  Said he was interested in getting information on the franchise our business offers.  Both numbers ring into "The corporate office & studio of Economic Report & Our Planet Television Series".  Whenever you try to reach him, you only get a voicemail to leave a message or try his assistant at ext. 2037, (which is another voicemail).

Don't know what he is ...shoveling, but I don't need any fertilizer.

In fact, this organization hits up companies they feature for a $19,700 "scheduling fee" for involvement in the program. So if you want to buy advertising in afternoon television, it may make sense for you. If you want legitimate editorial coverage, keep walking.

It seems ligit to me. Got a call today and scheduled a phone interview. I googled the number and the website of the Economic Report shows the number we all seem so concerned about on the top right hand corner of the site. Check it out. http://www.theeconomicreport.com/index.php
