Got a call yesterday.

they called me many times and they are telling that i have to pay 284.00 $ and they are giving an account number for me to pay it online on their web site.

I've received hundreds of calls from this # and most of them I ignore.  I've answered the phone on a few occasions, to tell them they have the wrong # and everytime I tell them they have the wrong # they hang up on me.

Now I just got another call from them again and told the girl that I've spoken with them about 5 times telling them they have the wrong #.  She argued with me telling me no, I never told them that as no one has ever gotten an answer when calling my #, which is BS.  I asked for her name and the name of her company and she hung up on me.

I receive daily recorded calls from this number since last week, using my 10 year old daughter's name, that's concerning to me.  I knew they had to be a debt collector, since they're so annoying.

They started calling me today from various Florida numbers. When they leave a message they say that they have an important business to discuss but they don't say who the message is for. I am not about to return a phone call when I don't even know if it is for me. Judging from what I read here,they will be a rude bunch and I  really don't have the patience to deal with that kind of treatment. So I am not going to bother.

they keep calling here for a guy who had our number before we did  - and we got our number in July of 2000.

I say he doesn't live here and try to get them to stay on the line long enough to provide them with info to get us off their list but they just hang up.

UGH.

Same as the above: I have an important business call for "JerryB..  Fills up the answering machine.  Is there a do not call, or a way to block them?  I have Time warner and am in NC.

I am right there with you I get 6 phone calls a day. This time I actually got a person when i answered and boy did i give them a piece of my mind. People have no respect when you tell them to quite calling and then you don't get any phone calls for like a week so you think it is finally over and then they blow your phone up. so then you really have to cus these people when they call again and acctually have a human instead of a machine.

they list their id as AFS and they call our house all the time but never leave a message.

i tried to call this number back all the time and it comes up as busy constantly. my caller ID says that its from flordia

Constant calls, hang-ups, and never a message. This is harassment of the purest nature.

They call here looking for two different persons I never heard of.  They leave a long message on the answering machine for these people (which I have saved). They also leave a number to call if this message isn't reaching the party they are looking for.  
  TOday they called and I answered the phone. They hung up.
  I then called the number they left if my number was a wrong number, and they asked me for my number which i gave them and they ask me if I am "so and so", giving me the name of a third person who they have been told in the past can not be reached at this phone.
This is pure harassment and will be reported if I receive any more calls from them.

these jerkoffs call me constantly....am alomst willing to get a plane ticket there from jersey and punch these people in the mouth

This number keeps calling and not leaving a message- I don't answer if I don't recognize it.

A collection agency that wanted money for a medical bill I didn't incur. $81.00 for Broward General Hospotal

Caller ID said Ft Lauderdale. I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

I got a call from this number with a recorded message saying they had important personal business to discuss, and to hit 1 if I was there. I hung up the phone without hitting anything.
