Keep getting calls from Hollywood Florida. All have same area code and prefix. The last 4 numbers are usually different. Calls supposedly coming from actual numbers, but seriously doubt retired folks from the same area are all calling me 700 miles away!

I went to the same show and have been getting calls from this number about 3 times a day for the last 3 days. I usually don't answer phone numbers I don't know. Next time they call I just start talking nonsense and they will hang up.

Now it makes sense how they got my cell number. My wife and I were just at a Dinosaur show in York, Pa & we filled out the contest. Damnit!

Apparently, Tony, they must "hang out" at the dinosaur shows--we filled out a form at one in Indianpolis. After that I kept getting calls and finally answered. The lady said I had "won" a trip to Orlando along with 49 others who had been "selected". When I advised her that I didn't have time at the moment to talk and asked that they call back the next day, she said she would if there were "still enough packages available". I raised the question that if this was MY prize, why it would there not be any available the next day? In other words, were there more than 50 "winners" selected? I didn't really receive an adequate answer (more like a "runaround the facts" answer). I talked to another couple who attended along with my wife and all three of them had "won" the trip. My guess is that the contest is nothing more than a way to collect names and phone numbers so all attendees that fill out a form can "win" the exclusive 50 trips and when they have a group of 50, they close the "contest". The number is listed as the "Jewish Support Center" in the Broward County, FL Chamber of Commerce book. I suspect that either they are leasing the space or the number has been retired and is being re-used.

I receive calls from this number for the past 2 weeks. I also live in Wisconsin. I am usually at work when they call and they never leave a message.

Foreign gentleman called and offered "free" trip to Orlando, FL. Asked him what the catch was. He didn't hesistate and said you pay 15% of the trip and "we just want to use you for advertising." He asked about a credit card number for incidentals to the hotel room. A few minutes after I hung up, I called the number back to see who the company was (and because my mom taught me to back dial "amazing deals"). I let it ring about 15 times but no one ever answers. Sorry, but I am not going fall for this "amazing offer" and I didn't give my credit card number. BE WARNED: I think it's fraudulent.
