Just received this phone call as a result of a registration I filled out at the Iowa State Fair.  As many others have said, they wanted $698 + $39 for a too-good-to-be-true travel experience.  I did not refuse it, but did say I would not give them money without checking out the company.  They told me I could call them back and this is the number they gave me to return the call. The call came from 954-454-2899 in Hollywood, FL. I could not locate the company name they gave me, but googled the phone number and found this site, as well as others with similar information.  I am not going to call them back.

I received a package of vouchers and immediately contacted my credit card to dispute the $698 charge from Sunny Travels. It was a red flag that the web address MagicalEscapesGetawaysInc.com on the front page was out of commission and highlighted in voluminous consumer complaints. I was originally told the agency was called Universay Getaways and was given three pieces of false information. 1) Vacations are fully transferable. This is not the case because EVERY voucher requires a middle-aged married couple with $50k income to attend a two hour time share tour. 2) We could bring up to three additional guests with us at no extra charge. There is an extra charge to upgrade to rooms that accomodate more than 4 guests. 3) For each airfare purchased on any airline I would recieve a matching companion airfare. This is really what sold me on the package and it is completely bogus. The written materials clearly indicate that all travel arrangements are on your own.

I have looked up the number and found out from a lot of people this is a scam. They just called me and tried to get me to make a decision without talking to my husband...big red flag for me.

That's great! So did I, but I turned it down. Repost your outcome when you go on these vacations & let us know how it went. Curious as to whether or not this is a scam.

It's from Multi-Vacation Getaway. You must have filled out a raffle entry form somewhere. You should answer it. I got a great vacation package from them.
