same thing happened. They called me a few times today
and hung up if I call them back

Also have been receiving calls from this number. Finally answered and the man said he was from allied van lines. He knew my name and asked if it was me, when I said yes he hung up. Hasn't called since. I have recently been dealing with allied.

same thing for me. I've recieved three calls total... all hang ups. Tried to call back and disconnected me right away. I have had dealings with Allied Van Lines recently so I'm going to look into it tomorrow.

The same thing above happens to me. When they call by the time I answer it disconnects and when I call back it does not connect.

I am registered on the Do Not Call List.

This is the 2nd day in a row I have received calls from the number.

This number calls my cellphone and hangs up before I can even answer.  When I call it back it says "connecting" and then disconnects. I have listed my cellphone number in the "do not call" list and hopefully it will fix the issue.  I wish there was some type of legal action that could be taken against this company.

I have gotten six calls on my cell phone from this number since 6/7/07.  They've called twice a day and no one answers when I pick up.  I tried to call the number back and it was immediately disconnected.  My cell phone number is listed on the do not call list.

I got a call from this number and they claimed to be Allied Van Lines.  Curious thing is that I had contacted them about three weeks ago to see if they could move me. I read this site before I talked to the guy and told him that Allied already refused to move me so I don't understand why he'd be calling.  Then I decided to have fun with the guy and acted a little psycho, saying things like, "Thank god you finally called me, I've been wanting to talk to you, you sexy mother f*@#$r." Needless to say, he hung up on me.  I hope that ended those calls! I had three before I answered.

6/7/07 - This is the third time in a row that this number has called me and they called twice yesterday and once today. I have not picked up the phone because I do not know the number. When I googled it, I found this website. When I tried calling back, the phone didn't even ring and the call dropped after a few seconds.

Oh nooo... I'm starting to get the dreaded calls ON MY CELL phone!  I too called and it disconnects before it even connects.

Luckily I don't answer when I don't recognize the number and checked this one out online first. They called me twice today with no message. Hopefully they'll stop calling

i have been getting these calls for 2 weeks now. they do not leave a vm or say anything when i pick up. when i call back it hangs up on me.

I'm on the do not call for yrs. I've rec'd this call 2x so far. highly annoying. The only contact that I've had w/ Fl was to complain about telemarketing. That went to the FL DA.

I *am* registered at donotcall.gov, but I got one of those calls today anyway. I had no idea who or what it was until I Googled the number and found this page.

I got the same thing.  Registered my phone at www.donotcall.gov and it stopped.

How do you know it's really dish network?  I keep getting a call - every couple days from the same number and they hang up.  When I try to call back it doesn't even ring before it disconnects.  I haven't had any dealing with Dish Network.  I have only had Direct TV for several years.

I called Dish Network to inquire about their current promotions in my area a few weeks back. They took my phone number "in case they need to call back. it was my mistake. They now call non-stop every day, and hang up when I answer. I lost any interest in doing business with this company after their first call!
