AHHHH...they just got me to send them my paypal email address...I didn't give them ANYTHING else, glad I told them to pickup the vehicle at a Walmart instead of my home...I told them (unfortunately AFTER I gave them my paypal email addy "STOP transaction...YOU ARE SPAM AND HAVE BEEN BLOCKED AND REPORTED!" Now I'm scared to death...what other steps should I take to safeguard my accounts/family????

Received a text from this number regarding a Craigslist Motorcycle ad asking if price was negotiable. Sounds similar to the post by DAN above. Clearly, they had not read any of the other details in the ad which would have answered the questions presented via their text. After some reverse phone number research, suspicions were confirmed as indicated in the reports above surrounding this same phone number.

That site also shows how other 800notes visitors have reduced the number of telephone scams and telemarketing calls they receive. (And, a link to Amazon's phone blocker devices and apps is there).

Motorcycle posted on Craigslist. Received text early in A.M. Text asked legit questions. I replied, asking questions of my own. Response was notification that a private hauler would be up to pick up the bike and payment would be via paypal. No discussion of final price or if I even had a paypal account. I have heard of this type of scam previously.
