I never said there was anything wrong with a collector trying to collect on a unpaid debt.  What is wrong is the tactics used to collect on a debt that has passed the SOL or for that matter, threatening legal action without intent..that is what you did to me. There are laws put in place to protect the consumer from bottom-feeders;  And if you read my statement properly, you will see that the info you left on my voicemail was NOT intended for me. You called the wrong number!   I have NEVER taken out a loan that I have not paid back.  I made sure to be home when your so-called "courier" ( I'm still waiting)was suppose to deliver this info, becuz it would be my pleasure to go to court, stand in front of a judge and swear that I have never taken out a loan that I have not paid back. It would have been even more pleasurable to stick Greg Adams and Assoc...with my legal bills  So get over yourself..

Hahaha! It's so funny to actually hear these stories on the net lol! You think we are doing bad by doing our job,but then DEBTORS taking loans out and not paying back is perfectly fine.... This is why the economy is how it is today. Individuals running up national debt everywhere and not paying what they got borrowed, so sad so sad... And for the record all the info as far as SSN, address,bank acct info when you got the loan wuz placed by yourselfs. If we wanted to steal your info believe me we could. Just remember if you woulda paid this back when you took it you would never be in this situation! So pay your debt! If you don't want calls! For mommy and daddy hiding there kids not to pay....I guess the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree lol!

Keep getting these calls from Mr. Zimmerman from Gregory Adams & Associates, tracked him down and he is a fake, scam artist...  All his numbers are private, so he is hiding behind the "private" call, no reputable lawyer would hide behind a private tel number.  My credit report was hacked in May 2012 with a stolen credit card and then this fool started calling.  I am BK and all my debits are with the courts and it is reflected on my credit breau report.  So if this guy or whoever keeps it up, he will spend time in jail if I can catch up with him which I turned him over to the authorities with all the information I have found out about him.  So Mr. Zimmerman have a nice time in jail, I am not worried about you!  You can't touch me when I have disclosed all my debits to the court and I am under the protection of the Law... Hahahaha...

Greg Adams and Associates. They do not say anybody in the household's name, they just say that an action is going to be taken regarding my social security number in the name of their client. Two times in the last week I have been told that if they don't receive a call by the end of the day they will rule it willful evasion. Both individuals that have called have ended their message with govern yourself accordingly.

Got a message on voice mail claiming to be David Zimmerman from Greg Adams & Assoc. Represented his self as something like a paralegal & to stop the current legal action, I should call. I researched first& found them to be a collection agency misrepresenting themselves.

I have had the same problem with this company and they are a debt collection agency. That apparently thinks that the rules don't apply to them they break all kinds of laws and claim that they are working with a law firm (Hmmm). I looked them up on the BBB website and was shocked to see an A- rating I don't know how that could even happen, My next step is to contact the BBB and ask some questions about how it is that they can have that kind of a rating, companies like this count on people letting this type of behavior go unchecked, they are counting on you not filing the complaint or contacting the Attorney Generals office and turning them in for unfair debt practices.

Got a call from 954-688-4660.  Said there were accusations against me.  Said they were Gregory Adamson and Associates.  When I didn't know them and refused to answer their questions they threatened me.  Said they were going to effin ruin my life and then hung up on me. Goodled name and some company out of Florida was the result.

Caller ID says call is from Brown & Maserek. They never leave a message on the machine. I get alot of calls from 'bill collectors' for someone who used to have my home number. I have had this number for 8 years. So this must be very old debt. If I answer, the call sounds like it is in a 'boiler room'. It does not immediately connect with a person. So I hang up. They call about twice a month.

Received a ridiculous phn call threatenng to serve me with papers for a "pending " lawsuit.  The person who called said he was from courier service and had a "sealed" legal document, and proceeded to tell me what was on that"sealed" legal document.  First of all, if it is sealed, it is a federal crime to open up another persons correspondence.  Second, just becuz you know my address, isn't going to scare me into calling you back and paying a debt that is far beyond the statute of limitations in my state. Third, I have been waiting for 3 weeks now to"be served"( and neither has the person this call is actually for).I have saved the message and I am forwarding to the Attorney General of my state.  I am not afraid of bottom-feeding debt collectors who buy these junk debts for pennies on the dollar.
As for those collectors who monitor these sites and post comments that are besieged with insults, poor grammar and are unable to spell at a 3rd grade level, I say go back to school, there is nothing you can say to insult me.  you on ther other hand can say bye-bye to your month-end commission. It is against the law to leave any type of legal information on a voicemail of the wrong number. I now know who this call  is for..not me...and you hv just left infomation on the wrong number....I used the pronoun "I" in the above text to prove my point. So, go ahead, reply to this comment and insult me as much as you feel necessary, believe me, I will be perfectly fine.

I have gotten 2 calls so far and they are looking for my ex husband for which I have had no connection with for nearly a decade.  I have no info to give so they can just give up.  I hate the fact that on certain "information on person" websites that you have no control as to what is there.  That is how they do this crap

I just received a call from a "Mr. Zimmerman" from Gregory Adans & Associates, from this number alleging the same thing:  There is a legal matter against my ssn and they will proceed if I don't respond.  They called on my cell phone.  I happen to be debt free and have been so for several years.  I wonder if this is a "phishing" scam.  I don't plan to do anything.

They threatening me with a law suit and said they were using the call as a notice that they were going to file. I checked with the Kansas state Attorney generals office and hey say all notices have to be sent by mail in letter form so not to worry about this notice that is illegal.

They call several times, using different numbers- harassing calls. I  ignored them. But I am getting tired.

Stephanie Thompson called from this number (Gregory Adams & Associates), looking for my daughter. They called my house, my cell and even my ex mother-in-law's home number. Funny, my daughter has a different last name from me so why they are coming to me and my MIL to find her... It's harrassment plain and simple. Her message was identical to the ones I'm reading on this post. A legal matter associated with her SSN and she needed to call back or they would have no choice but to award their client in the matter. Man, you'd think these people would get shut down. I don't know how these people sleep at night after Scamming people all day long. Shame on them!!!

they called me yesterday threatening to put a lien on my car, and also wanted me to pay off an old loan that i had in 2004. the man on the phone said that they wanted the payment before the statue of limitations was gone. guess what? statue of limitations is 4 years in the state of Texas. They can suck it!!! And I almost fell for it, but my phone hung. Thank God for poor phone service at my house.

I just got a call from these guys said my ssn was associated with a debt and I was gonna be served for willful evasion unless I or my legal rep get in touch with them, I've never even been to Florida!  why do telemaketers or crooked collection firms think your more likley to answer your phone if the caller id is blocked if your not willing to let me see who's calling then I figure you dont really want to speak to me in the first place! Someone should also let the Florida Courts they must have a rouge judge making legal judgements for them I bet they dont know! (Mr.Zimmerman)

I just recieved a call from this number asking for money on an unpaid account or they will file a suit against me. The young lady refused to give the company name but instead gave the phone to a "law manager". He couldn't even get the dollar amount right that the young lady had given me and when I called him on it he gt irate with me. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!

This is a SCAM! I have no debts that would be in the hands of a collector and I have monitoring on my SSN so don't answer these calls.  They also call from:

i paid back a pay day loan "realy lady"... just a payday loan i bet u have no proof what so ever or documentation i bet if i look you up you have all kind of judgements against your credit and this isnt tyhe first time that you will be taken to court over it.. and im more than willing to put my life on it that youve taken more than one... serioously act like an adult,,..
