Spanish Speaking woman, asking for me.  I asked who was calling, she hung up.

Just received a call from 954-772-8148 which I assume is a spin-off of the above number. The answering machine came on and they did not leave a message. These types of numbers are coming frequently, but they are always to cowardly to leave a message.

Just received a call from American Preferred tonight after seeing many missed calls on my caller ID from them.  The lady on the phone said "Oh, Donna, I finally reached you!  I stayed late to try to get you because it is important.  Are the magazines you are receiving arriving in good condition?"  I said "which ones?"  She said "we work with the publishers" and again I said "which magazines?"  She said "TV Guide" I said "I don't receive TV Guide"  She said "well the ones you do receive" I said "If you can't tell me which ones you are talking about, I can't help you!"  Click she hung up!  What a crock!  If the call me again...I will rip them a new one!

camwe through on my caller ID earlier today.  I did not recognize the # and just did a google search on it.
Assuming its a telemarketer and I have been on the do not call register since its inception.

We have been receiving calls from this number, along with the other two numbers of 954-772-3643 and 954-772-2148 as a previous poster mentioned.  My husband has answered a couple times, and gets a hang up.  This evening, someone finally asked for me.  When he said I was not home and asked if he could take a message, they hung up.  They have called no less than 20 times over the past month, today was the first time someone actually talked, usually its a hang up when he answers the phone.   Usually, we see who's on the caller ID and ignore the call, but it's really getting annoying.

They claimed to have my name from periodicals I receive but didn't know which ones I get. They offered to send me some free periodicals but then started asking me personal questions "in order to send me the right ones." I said I wasn't interested and asked them to put me on their "do not call" list. They said "Sure" and hung up very quickly.

Asked for "my name" I said this is her / Says for "my city/state" I said yes and you are.  My name is Hillary, is this "my name" from "my city/state" I said well it depends who are you and what company are your from Hillary.  She hung up.  

I am on the do not call list / I guess this doesn't work anymore.  So fed up!

Try calling back, it is always busy.

I have received these calls over the past several days on 954-772-3643 and 954-772-2148.  It's clearly a call center as first I got a "ring tone" and waited for someone to answer.  She finally said "Debbie?" and then hung up.

cALLED AND DID NOT SAY ANYTHING

They call about every 20 minutes. I have yet to answer. It says American Prefer on my caller ID.
