Just received a call from this number saying that my husband & I had signed up on the internet to reduce out debt ~ wrong! Didn't happen ~ it's a scam!!! (954) 780-8840

I just spoke with a guy from this company, but the re-routed the number so it was local. (tricky as hell) He said I filled out a form to consolidate my debt (I didn't) The company is American Credit Shield, and they are saying that attorneys will work on finding errors in your credit and wipe your debt. It sounds legit, but sadly it is not. Do not give them personal information, do not sign up. I only answered because it was a local number, and when I called him out on that he laughed and thought it was funny.

If you are registered on your state or the Federal Do Not Call list, then I strong recommend you file a complaint.  It's rare to be able to identify some of these telemarketing calls.

How do you know they are a scam? Is it just because they called you on the phone?Or do you think everyone on the phone is a scam. I am almost certain that you did not listen to what they had to say. People like yourself tend to assume instead of making an educated decision after knowing the facts. That simply makes you an idiot!

I think food stamps is sharing personal info with these people

they just called me, I didn't answer and they left no message.  I googled the number and found they have 90 complaints to the BBB.

Stop calling my phone. Have asked several times to stop calling and still be calling.

CALLED AND ASKED FOR ME BY FIRST NAME AND SAID THEY WERE RESPONDING TO AN INQUIRY I MADE ONLINE FOR HELP WITH A NON-SECURED DEBT. I TOLD HER I HAD NOT MADE A REQUEST AND SOMEONE ELSE MUST BE USING MY INFORMATION. SHE POLITELY APOLOGIZED AND HUNG UP.

Just got a call from them, someone hung up but I didn't answer.

They keep calling say they have help for my financial debts...which I do not have

I get a call from this number atleast 3 times a day. I have not answered any of their calls since I do not recognize the number. They have never left a message either. After reading the comments I will block them on my phone..

Do not want calls from any telemarketers, especially when they don't speak when you answer.

After looking at others comments here..thanks to everybody..Spammers and scams take notice..Feds are looking at web sites like this one to take these people down!! DO NOT ANSWER THE Calls..they charge you on your phone bill for talking to them.

This number has called me more than once .
I never answer it. When will this kind of call be stopped?

told me that I have gone on the internet to check on cleaning up my credit. I don't think so. Said they were a company called Regal Credit.

caller called  me phishing  and asked for me by name and wanted to know had I recently requested debt consolidation and had a email and talked about debt consolidation.

This number calls and I answer.  I can hear noise in the background and no one is saying anything.  This is really annoying!!

I, also, do not answer calls I do not know.  They did not leave a message.

got a call from 1-954-780-8840..united legal ..called back asked if i wanted to remove my debt from my credit report ..said no and hungup

This number calls. I picked up once and they hang up. Dont know who or what they want.

Called but I was aware of scam and didn't pick up. Wish there was a way to shut them down ?
