does anyone know who this is. i just started getting these calls today myself & have NO IDEA>>>

when i answer there is no one there & they do not leave a message either!

I am getting calls form this number, which just started this AM, along with a bunch of other calls that also hang up as soon as I answer.

I recieved this call on my cell phone but missed it and decided to google it to see who it was.  Apparently it's a joke.  I can't block it but I'll delete it and hope they don't try to call again.

Same thing here.  I get dozens of calls from this number.  It rings four times and never gets to voicemail or just doesn't leave a message.  If I answer before it hangs up, it hangs there and you are not on hold, you can hear stuff in the background and no one replies when you talk to "them".  THIS IS CLEARLY FRAUD.  

I called the number back and was given two choices:  Push 1 on the touchtone keypad of your phone to sign up for auto protection (HA HA H A  HA H A!!!!!!) and push 6 to be removed from their calling list.  I pushed 6  and entered my 10-digit number as instructed.  It read back the number with 2 digits wrong, I re-entered my tel # and it read it back, again with digits wrong, but different ones wrong.  I entered my tel # 13 times and finally heard my actual number repeated.  I DO NOT BELIEVE I AM BEING REMOVED BUT I WILL PRESS HARASSMENT CHARGES ON THE NEXT PHONE CALL FROM THEM.

got tis call more than once. i called back and got a recorded voice message. I put my number on there do not call list. end of problem

Status: Called and the Caller ID stated "Deerfield Be, FL".  I answered.  A man asked for my wife by name.  I stated that she wasn't here and that I was her husband.  He stated that he spoke with her last week and that she was shopping for an auto warranty extension (all lies).  I informed him that I called and used the automated process on 7/19/2010 to remove my number from there system and was on the 'Do Not Call' list.  He said he would make sure that my number is processed for removal and ended the call.

Status: Called and the Caller ID stated "Deeerfield Be, FL".  I did not answer.  No voicemail.  This is the second unsolicited call received at my home today.  This prompted me to register for the National Do Not Call Registry (https://www.donotcall.gov/) to include my home phone, my cell phone, and my wife's cell phone.

OK...same here....getting calls DAILY from this number!!!  They say they have never called me before...and that I SIGNED UP to get the information.  Says they are Auto Protection.  
How to get RID of this nuisance?!!

It's Royal Automotive Extended Vehicle Contract aka Warranty.  It's just a scam.

I answered questions on a website (foolishly) re. my car - it turned out my friend's email had a virus and her account sent out links to this site to "win something".  I DID NOT finish the questionnaire and called her to check on what this was about - hence finding out about the virus.  Twenty minutes later I received a call from this number asking about the warranty on my car!!!!  He said it was from something I entered on line moments before.  I DID NOT finish the questionnaire.....who are these people????

Number calls, I answer - nobody there.  
It's a poorly designed auto call distributor.  When there's no agent available to talk to you, they just let the call hang.

I keep getting this number on my caller ID, never leave a message and I don't answer numbers I don't know.

I've been getting calls from this number for 3 days now and they don't leave a message or speak.

They call first thing in the morning.  Caller ID says Auto Protection.  I have gone so far to pick up and wait til they come on and then hang up to flat out telling them I'm not interested and they still call!!

Caller ID just said Deerfield, FL  

They call and don't leave a message, so I added them to my phone's rejection list.  If they can't leave a message it can't be that important.

I just added them to my automatic reject list. I didnt pick up but i figured they were bad news. They did not leave a message
