I had same call only it came from # 1-888-761-7269 her name is Maria Perez  saying I owed Canon creek also I did have a loan out with them years ago but why contact me now??? And yes some guy called you first and tells you have been served!!!!

That is because they aren't a collection agency, but extortionists.  Hang up on them.  Even better, buy  a cheap whistle and blow it in their ear.  Scammers.

I'm at work right now and just received a fax to the HR Dept. from a Damon Brown at The Epstein & Rothman Firm, asking for verification of employment etc. on me! The phone# they give is 954-302-8641 and the fax is 888-344-4265...they've also called me at work, my manager is NOT happy but they won't stop!! I know my rights and I know that they cannot call me at work and harass me, especially after they've been told by myself and my manager to stop the calls. I was freaking out before I googled them and found this page, unbelievable the lengths these people will go too...

This company is fony. I have been taken for thousands. They have all my info my ss# my address. When I was talking to them they heard my kids in the background and told me if I didn't pay them they would come to my house and rape me in front of my kids. These people are monsters I have been in contact with the ATTY GENERAL I suggest you do the same. They had me so scared that I purchased a gun. It is crazy. The change there name and phone # constantly. Anytime I get any creditor call I google it and do a google on the phone #.

I received a call from Jocelyn Taylor with this company who told me about that I have an outstanding payday loan which I received from Canyon Creek, LLC for $300. I actually do remember getting this loan a while back when my son was born and since we switched bank accounts, I am pretty sure this is a legitimate claim. They offered to settle the balance for $240 which I agreed to and I set up the payment arrangements. My first payment is scheduled to come out on the 1st and the next payment is not until the 21st. The person took my credit card info for the payments. I recorded the conversation just in case my information is used wrongly. I received an agreement letter via email which looked pretty phony so I decided to look them up and now I see everyone saying they are scammers. Has anyone had a success story or should I go ahead and change my bank info?

Wow! This is not the forumn for your political views. Considering the distruction of this country initiated by George Bush, I think Obama has done an amazing job with the cards that he was dealt. He will continue to have my support in the upcoming election.

They keep calling me and threatening to take to court and coming to my place of employment. They say they have a case number, and they would like to settle. I tried to call them back, and when they put you through to an extension, the phone hangs up.

I have a payday loan that needs to be paid. They called me with a phone number of 888 391 1060 along with a lot of other numbers i dont have anymore, They threated to file collections with Clark County Court.  I almost gave them the money until i read these posts. Said they were gonna serve court papers to me at my place of employment. I told them I was aware they are a scam and do not call my phone again.

I keep getting the same phone calls as well. I was told that a $200.00 loan has turned into $500.00, but they will except $350.00. I was also told that the ONLY way to pay this would be to purchase a pre-paid debit card, and just call and give them the card numbers! They said they would NOT take a check, or a money order.......what kind of a joke is this place. Do they think that every one is that stupid........ I have NEVER had a collection agency EVER tell me that in the past.

hi I keep getting a cal from the company epstein and rothman when I cal bk no one answer the phone no exts..they cal and left a voice mail  saying my ssn and fraud etc.... These people are calling me stating that they are taking me to court for a $300.00 pay day loan that has ended up being $660.00 with their company what do I do?

This is a rip off collection agency, they call and threaten to show up at your job and have you arrested. They even have someone call and pretend to be an officer. You cannot be jailed for debt. They are complete morons, do not give them any personal information.

I got a call form this number it was arecorded message, saying it was the Epstein and lockman Law fIrm regarding a docket number, I checked listing could not find thius law firm in the broward area, and I checked broward county court filing and also could not find the docket number.

This is a collection agency they will keep calling you using different names and numbers. If you cannot pay your bills due to the economy then don't vote for me in 2012. I plan on destroying this country and with your vote I will succeed.
