Morons. A. If you are on the Do Not Call registry, it does not exempt you from political calls. Just like your "No Soliciting" sign does not apply to people canvassing for political purposes. I am so sorry the political process is so inconvenient to you. Perhaps a dictator ship where you have no involvement in the process would be less of a hassle.
B. if you base your vote solely on which candidate calls you the least, you are truly an idiot. Pay attention to the issues, get over yourself, and vote like an adult.

have no idea who keeps calling my personal cell phone number, but i wish it would stop
Kathy 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Barbara's comment is very interesting because I also found this nbr on our Bright House Caller ID and since that call our phone no longer works either. I really didn't put the two together until I read her comment. Bright House is coming out in a few days--will see if they can fix it.
barbara 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
No but whoever they are have had our phone tied up for about 6 hours.
Mike 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Just recd a call from this # on our home phone. Said she was from Rick Scott's office checking to see if my husband rec'd the voter registration card? Anyway...our phone still works......

Political call to advertise someone running for office.
Barbara 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Today 7/6 at 12:36pm this number called our home. We have not been able to use our phone since that time. We have tried ATT, MCI and even the police. NO one will help us.
AT&T and MCI say since they are not the provider they can't do anything. Local police sympathized with us but also won't do anything.
It could be a harassment call or the caller could have dropped dead.
We need our phone for emergencies in and out
Randy 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Any idea who could call from this phone number.
jegnaross 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Received a call from this number but never heard anyone on the line. Tried to call back and the number would not go through.
Dave 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
I am in area code 808. We got a call from this number at 4 a.m. who asked for us by name and then hung up. This was very disturbing not knowing who would do something like this since we are military with family deployed. I hope the Rick Scott tag is correct because I left a nastygram on their contact page.

This number called our home number for our daughter that is in college...she only gives out her cell number. Polite caller that only said they would call back later. I'm guessing it is political...the darn calls will not stop, tempted to cancel the land line since the callers seem to only be political, marketers, and surveyors.
anonymous 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
I think this is a political solicitation. They (I believe) are protected from the National Do Not Call list. They get your number from your voter registration (did you use your cell on that form? that could be how they got that number). And because they get the info there, you basically willingly gave them the number. Just like having a credit account, that company is exempt from the Do Not Call list, because you gave them your number.

Friggin' right-wing wack-job politician! Rick Scott political call.
JHUDSON 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Political - called my dad's house several times - I told them he was to frail and ill to come to the phone and they persisted in saying they would call back later - kept asking to remove his name and caller refused without speaking to him. I said "suit yourself" They called again today and asked for him. When I said this is his daughter they hung up on me!!!!! Maybe Rick Scott should use his millions to back some legislation to stop this out of control nonsense.
Chris 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
They just called me twice in a row. I grabbed it the second time. Some guy started speaking Spanish to me, so I kept asking if he wanted a taco. Then he figured out I don't speak Spanish and hung up on me, how rude!
dick 2011-06-06 21:08:11 Unknown
Your comment to him was rude...
George 2010-10-28 18:51:47 Political Call
A gentleman asked if my name was George then hung up. What buffoons. How do they expect to have a positive image if they convey a negative one by prank calling voters?
P'cola Buck 2010-10-24 00:04:11 Unknown
They are probably calling you because you are a registered Republican. If so, you can bet you won't get a call from the Sink organization!
P'cola Buck 2010-10-24 00:01:16 Unknown
You can thank your elected representatives for exempting themselves (along with charitable organizations) from the requirements of the Do Not Call law.
Dennis 2010-10-23 19:51:45 Political Call
This is a political call, trying to get you to vote for whoever. Hung up too soon to hear who it was. Seems a shame that they take the money you contribute to a party, or individual, and throw it back in your face with harrassing telephone calls, and not a real person at that. We need to stop contrubuting to these politicans, then they would have no money to call you.
Naples guy 2010-10-23 18:17:24 Unknown
Please please please make it stop. Do we need any more crooks buying their way into office.
kitty 2010-10-19 22:52:22 Unknown
stop these calls
voterer 2010-10-19 22:03:07 Unknown
If you iditots didn't voter for any candidate that called your house, you may as well not vote. Stay home instead of going to the polls.
If you don't understand campaigning, I would prefer you don't vote anyway. We all hate it, but it is a necessary evil.
Mom 2010-10-19 14:51:02 Political Call
I got at least 5 of these calls and promptly returned the call directly to Rick Scott's office where I subsequently told them all about my 'ad'. I informed them that every time I receive a call from them, I will call them with my sales pitch and hope they remain on the line.
THey promptly removed me from the list.
FL. Daisy 2010-10-18 16:58:28 Political Call
I was called by this number and I will gladly vote for Rick Scott - Obama is behind Sink BIG TIME - the fools have already elected the Prince of Fools for the White House - let's not turn Florida into another lost state - Sink has already raised taxes on water, cable TV, electricity, real estate, etc.., etc., and I would vote for Mickey the Mope before I would ever vote for another Democrat.
Jean Y. 2010-10-16 23:25:18 Political Call
Our phone number is unlisted, on the National Do Not Call List AND the Political Do Not Call list. We've received several calls (robo and live) from the Rick Scott campaign. Needless to say, he's not getting any votes from this household!
Marian 2010-10-15 22:55:19 Unknown
No message was left on my answering machine. If this call was from Rick Scott I have no objection. He has as much right to make political calls as any Democrat does. Political calls are exempt from the Do Not Call law.
Alan 2010-10-15 20:31:41 Unknown
PLEASE tell me Alex Sink is not your answer??? We can not afford to have a tax and spend liberal running this state.
wayne matteson 2010-10-07 17:23:03 Unknown
stop calling my house . stop calling any number connected to my name . wayne matteson
