A recorded message said the my debit card was locked and if I was to restore it........I hung up before it finished.

The scammer is calling in MA now.

I work for a credit union in central Va. Many of our members have called and asked about it.

This number is a scam - do not give out your information.

Same story.  The scam is still running.  Also, don't blame the bank/credit union that the call says it is from either.  They are being scammed by the use of their name.  Come to think of it, that is probably a violation of copywrite laws too,  not that it matters to the low life running the scam.

The voice response unit said I should press 1 to be connected to our security department. Since it shows as Unknown on caller-id I let the voice mail answer, but stopped recording once I heard that. They called on a Sunday before 8;00 AM.

we just got the same call from another number 202-375-500. saying the same thing.

I just received a call from this same number 8:16 a.m. on Aug. 15.  They asked for my account so I hung up because bank said they never will ask that when they call.

I got a call from this number around 2:00am so I was a tad confused.  In the morning I recalled they wanted me to have my debit card and account ready, and I was too tired thus I hung up.  I called back the number given to me and spoke with a customer representative, and the company was an entirely different company... some Insurance Co. perhaps.  

Another scam, how thrilling.  On Monday I will contact my bank to ensure all is well.

yep same thing only at 2:40 AM................. now I'm up and looking for revenge

There are just to many lazy people in this world. I got the same call asking for my credit card number. Really, get a life and work like the rest of us!!!! Be careful to all!!!!!

Same scam as above happened to me. I hung up and called back and got a message about some bank I don't belong to and fidelity.

Got this call myself....hung up after they wanted my card number!

Just got a call from this same number, with automated voice recording saying my debit card had been blocked.  I did press "1" to see if I'd get a live human on the other end, but no.  So, I looked up the company that the recording said they were from "Security Federal Savings Bank" on the Internet and called them in Indiana at 574-722-6261.  She receptionist said it was a scam and asked if I gave out any information, and no, I had not, and don't have an acct with them either.  She took my name to pass on to the security officer.

We also received a call from the phone number 954 905 2877 saying our debit account was blocked.  I called back the number and a recording came on offering phone numbers for "Fidelity" and "Victory".  Just another scam among many!!!

Just got a call from this number saying my debit card from a local credit union was blocked.  

Only thing is, like most everyone else here, I don't have an account with that credit union.

Yep, looks like a scam.

This number called a 912 area code number today at 10am.  Claimed to be with the Montgomery bank and told the person that his bank account had been frozen.  The person did not have a Montgomery bank account.

Calling KS now.haven't answered and don't plan to. So ridiculous!

They started calling Massachusetts residents now FYI

We live in Texas and it looks like they've started here.  We keep getting automated calls saying they are from "Point Bank" and are going to lock our credit card unless we call them back.  Since we don't have an account with Point Bank, they're a little mis-led.  :)

I received a call at 10pm at night stating they were going to lock my card if i didnt call back.  Yeah ok.

Another terrorist called at 11:36 PM EDT on Saturday night 07-31-2010. It is against the  law  to called after  9:00PM in your time  zone. It is a federal and state law too. I live  in Indiana. They did not leave  any message  and they called my cell phone  too. My lawyer  is  checking into it  and they say we  have  a  good  case of  mulit million dollar law suite. My lawyer  say beware of this  group it  is  100% scam.The  state A.G. has  been inform and  will take  on the  case  against this  company for  billions of  dollars to the  state and the  party in the  suite.

I got the same call too.  my area code is 260  I am sick of getting these calls!  So I called it back and they actually gave me a number to call....800 285-3641  total scam- actually pretty busy guy he seems to be running two scams.  when I called it back the first number given was for an "insurance company"  the second for three rivers.  They ought to do their research... three rivers is local to fort wayne, why in the world would I call a toll free number?

Some dirtbag claiming to be from Three Rivers Federal Credit Union in Fort Wayne Indiana. It's calling random numbers in the 260 area code as I've gotten the same call on another phone number of mine. It's some automated system wanting to scam people into putting in their banking details with 3 rivers.

I got an automated message from this number telling my that they had to lock my debit card and to press one to transfer to their security department. Scam.
