I got a call from this number today(3/26/2012 5:06PM) offering me a chance to lower my credit card interest rate. They just don't give up.

i was at work when they call i call back 45 min later and the number was discounted. not good

Total spammer!!  Calls several times a day and never leaves a message!

This phone number has called two times (3/14 and 3/15/13) but there is no one there.

Got a call from this number every day for the past week, decided to answer. Talked to a guy that asked if i wanted to reduce my monthly payments, and then i told him i don't have a credit card and would like to be removed from their call list. he didn't respond, but started singing a song, and then hung up. what on earth is going on???

961 area code is Northeast India

Thought it was just another call from "Ann from account services with good news.............." I have been getting these calls from all different numbers for over a year. Have searched the internet looking for some answers, but have been unsucessful.

Got two calls from this number.  I am on the do not call list and I am not interested in buying anything.  How do you get them to stop calling.

Unknown caller so I did not answer.  They did not leave a vm.  Looks like scammers to me.

961 is said to be an invalid area code.

Googled the 961 area code and it is the country code for Lebanon. What is their game?

Just got call on my cell phone. Went to answering but the hung up after about 3 words.

This number calls every day.  They hang up when I answer. I tried to call back. It says this is an in working number

 Everytime an incoming call is received whether answered or not, It's always the same group of characters eventhough countless telephone numbers are being used by these characters. There was a report on Fox News in Dallas just this week (March 10-17,2013) concerning these scams and the latest involved Michelle Obama and her personal information being stolen and exposed. If this is the case of even our President's wife being nailed by a scammer/hacker then just think of how easy it would be and is for the rest of us to become victim's! This is b***s*** and there is absolutely no excuse for this type of criminal activity! There is no other way to describe the actions of this group of people!!! These callers are using fake sales pitches, manipulation, harassment and even terroristic threatening to try and get what they want.

I keep getting calls from this numer so last time I waited until a person came on the phone.  I told them to get my number off their database and the person hung up on me.  

Since putting my number on the Do Not Call list I have gotten more unwanted calls than before I enrolled.  This seems to confirm my suspicions that the Do Not Call list is where these companies are getting our phone numbers.

Got call but no answer

Got a call from this number, answered, male voice recording "please do not hang up., Discover Card services, you are now eligible to reduce your interest rates on your credit cards, press 1 to speak to a representative"

This number along with a handful of others call and say nothing when i answer and leave no message when i dobt answer.. Its so annoying. When i try to call back it says the number is.disconnected and no longer in service just to have them.call back 5 minutes later fro the same number. Or it says my phone can not complete the call

I too am receiving this call and do not answer any calls, I o not recognize..no message left either..I am on the no call list also and want these to stop.

I've been getting a call from this number daily for the past week or so.  Call comes at the same time every day - around 11:00am Central.

i have received a call from this number once a day for the last 10 days.
when i answer, they hang up.
when i call back, i only get a recording

Same here.  Two complaints to the gov agency.  Seems the agency is on their side.

Same thing as a few days ago. "Name not found" on caller ID and they hung up when I answered.

I filed a second complaint with the Attorney General.

Yeah  idn't aswer it it either - guessing it's BS since another person is looking to see who it is.

Caller ID said "name not found." they hung up as soon as I said hello. Chicago area code.
