Received a call.  Caller did not leave a message.

call was a recording about our cerit card and we don't have a card.

This is a Canadian area code.  I asked to be removed from their list or I would report them.  They said they were in Canada so it as not illegal and there was no one to report this problem to.  They stated it is not illegal if they are calling from Canada.

Very nasty scammers on this, they told me they got my number from one of the 77 credit card companies they work with.  LIES as there are no longer 77 companies alive; perhaps the Great One can CHANGE this.

I got a call from this number whick I did not answer as it was not familiar to me.  Also the 000 prefix and "Name not known" told me it was most likely a telemarketer.

Pressed nine to be removed from their list.  They hung up.

We got a call from this number asking if we wanted to lower our credit card rates.. When you asked for their name and more info they hang up./

They called at about 3:45 to give me lower rates on my credit card.  I asked for their name and number so I could report them to the do not call registry.  He hung up on me.

Here is some Information that I have dug up on 962-000-8520, the call comes from MClean County Illiois, it is listed as a Verizon number Verizon North Illinois. Inc. Rate center Leroy whatever that means and yes this used to be a 309 number which they used years ago to call me. I have contacted the DNC people lot of good that will do, I also have contacted the Attorney General of Illinois see if he can stop these pigs.

I have been cursing these people for over three years, first I have asked them nicely and they will not give u any information other than they represent your credit card but cannot tell me which one. I have reported them to the Do Not Call people and nothing is being done. They called me again a short while ago and I pressed nine just like you and when I asked the girl what company she said credit card services and in no uncertain terms I told this woman to quit calling my number but not that nicely. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT AREA CODE THIS IS? IF SO I WILL CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THAT STATE.

The same thing happened as to Tom N, this people call around the first of each month, who do we report this to?

Received a phone call w/a recorded message from a "credit card" company advertising a lower interest rate.  Asked me to press "9" to connect.  I did so for the sole purpose of talking to a live person to request that they remove my number from their call list.  The guy that answered abruptly hung up when I requested that my number be removed.  Would love to find out more about this company and how to call them back to complain.
