Called said they were joan wells with benefield and associated is investigating me said if i dont call back i will be in big trouble called back and nobody answered. is this a prank never heard of this prson and dont know what it could be about.

Same here.  "Joan Wells," and investigator with "Benefield and Associates" is investigating check fraud or identity theft. Said that I had to call back within 24 hours (didn't mention what happens if I didn't). The more questions I asked her about her "case," the more irritated she became since her story wasn't fully developed so I poked holes in it that she couldn't address.

Have the attorney who handled your bankruptcy call them.

they located me through a relative that i havent even spoke to in over 10 years....they are posing as investigators and making terrible threats on something i have filed and had discharged in a bankruptcy over 7 yrs ago

Same thing.  Making accusations about siblings which are far from the truth.    Shouldn't even have my number and how do we get these calls when we are on National do not call registry?

i have been gettting  calls  from this number   saying there are  accusations  against me and  they are also  calling my   siblings

when called back, goes to a voice messaging system for joan wells.
