Same thing as others.  text ms asking how is my day going?  However, a call was also made to my land line???

I got one tonight from Jay.  "Good Evening* . How are you doing? " - my response was "Good. Who is this?"  He texted "Jay, whats your name?".  I deleted it then.

Just got a weird text from "Jay". I know a few Jay's and asked for his last name, no reply. I did let him know if he wasn't trying to get a hold of a Krista he has the wrong number, saw all these posts and told him he must be bored.

I got a message from the same number, asked me good morning and how my day was. I answered morning who is this he said jay, and asked what my name was. So I left it there. looked up the number and said somewhere in Kentucky.

11/28/13 Just got a txt saying - Good Evening. What did u do today? He said his name is "Jay". Seems that he has changed his name.

My daughter received a txt from this number today.  Same thing..."good afternoon, how are you doing?"  She asked who he was and he said "James, do you want to get to know me so we can meet?" She said, "Uhh, no." Didn't hear back from him, but he needs to be reported.

I got a text this evening asking about my day... Then I asked who it was & I also got the response, 'James'

Got a text telling me to have a good day.  Glad I can add to the 'James sucks' list.

Received a text last night also asking how was my day. Deleted it.

Just got two texts from this guy. Said his name was James. Going to look into reporting this so this a-hole doesn't keep bothering people.

I just recieved a text from this number asking how my day wS, pretty creepy. Has anyone reported this to the police yet????

970-457-7458 I too, received a text message asking me what the weather was like in my area. I replied; "Who are you?", he replied; "James". I didn't return a response, because I don't know who he is, so I deleted it.

Yep, same here.  Just got an email SMS from this number.  Not sure what the deal is but deleting it now.  Probably John just being bored but who wouldn't be bored in Durango CO?  He needs more beer.

I just got a harmless random text from the same number. Deleted it.

It is some guy name John. He stated that he just thought of the number and called. Not harmful but I think he got scared when I told him that his information was online. I don't think he is aware the his information is all over the internet address, home phone, profession. Hopefully, if his plan is texting people out of the blue he should protect his personal information.
