They are calling 5 times a day in weird hours waking up my baby from naps and waking everyone up in the morning and at night.They have to be stop! I picked up the phone and was going to tell them to take us off the calling list, but a 5 seconds auto message played and then hung up.

Everyday receiving a call from 970-482-1410!  Please stop it!

I get called by this numner at least 4 times a day, I refuse to answer yet they keep calling without leaving a message or anything. I dont give my number out to anything online so I dont know how they get my number but its really beginnign to make me mad

I've received at least 10 calls now from 970-482-1410 (all through the day, for several days).  When I have answered, a hastily worded message is rattled off on the other end followed by a hangup.  I'm not sure where in COLORADO this call is made from, but I've listed (saved) it to my cellphone's phonebook  as "bu***hit nothing caller", so that I may immediately disconnect the call (hangup on the cave slime making the call).

Called. No message. Please stop calling. Read that this is from a newspaper in Ill. trying to find out what local paper in my town they can get me to subscribe to. My cell phone is getting billed for this stuff! Please stop now!

I don't answer calls that I have no idea who they are but when I called back to see who it was they say all representatives are busy but don't say who they represent.

i answer and nobody is there- multiple times a day, i called back and am put on hold.... sad system they have..

I got calls from this number three times a day and when I answer the call the message says that the system is not available and thanks for calling, or something to that effect.  The caller leaves no message and its getting really irritating.

"I don't and don't want to..I am on the national do not call regsitry. so please take me off this list" "I'm not sure why you're getting calls since I do not know what paper you subscribe to...how did you get this #?" "I googled it...went to your website and got the number for the call center manager and as the call center manager aren't you supposed to fix this stuff?" Anyway, he asked me for the area where I lived, took my number and said he would take me off the list.

They called and hung up. I called back and no one answered

calls my fax number, doesn't leave msg, just background noise on the recording. calls 2-3 times a day. My phone log identifies them as "CIRCULATION SVC".  gotta get a horn and blast them back.

Thanks to the person who put that this was from GetThePaper.com; when you do a whois lookup you'll find that this domain is owned by Press-One Customer Care ... these guys do everything from bill collection to telemarketing.

Now that I've looked back at my phone logs; I see that I talked to these people once, when they said the were from the "Union Tribune" and wanted me to resubscribe to the paper. At the time I told them that I did not want the paper (as I prefer news online) and that they should take me off their list - as I was not going to resubscribe.

Obviously, these people never put me on the "Do Not Call" list, because they call every 4 months approx. 4-5 days in a row.

I just used my Mac to block this number from calling again; or at least they'll get a message that the call is blocked and I'll get an on-screen prompt to ignore the phone call.

I've asked them four times to take me off their list and they keep calling.  They are relentless.  I asked them last night to take me off their call list again and they didn't call - for a whole 24 hours.

this number calls us daily but i never answer the phone with a different area code except for my friends and family.and one time, i bought an answering machine, this guy left this message --"why is this f___g loud?" and then, he hanged up. how can someone leave that kind of message? i don't even say any bad word much less want to hear it from someone i don't know. i was lucky all my kids are still in school when i played the answering machine.

WHEN WE ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS CALLER ID #, WE HEAR A RECORDING THAT MAKES NO SENSE, THEN THE CALL DISCONNECTS.

Call came in twice today, May 30, 2008(970-482-1410).  Second call I answered at approximately 5:42 p.m., the woman said her name was Lisa from the Chicago Sun-Times.  I asked her why she was calling from Colorado regarding a Chicago newspaper. I told her I wasn't interested as my husband gets the Sun-times every morning on his way to work.

I called as well after receiving two calls, but I called from a different phone in case it was some kind of scam. It's a newspaper "customer service center." They ask for your # so they can find your local paper and try to get you to subscribe.

They called twice and hung up.  When I called back they said I was "scheduled for a call back", but they could only tell me it was about "my local newspaper".  They couldn't tell me which one!  I am now on hold, five minutes and counting, to talk to someone who "might" be able to help me... Okay, eight minutes and counting, and we have it narrowed down to The Patriot Ledger.  But now I'm on hold again while he tries to figure out if it is my Dad's subscription or my own (my Dad is in a nursing home and I handle his accounts).  Okay, eleven minutes and he couldn't answer...  Way to go Patriot Ledger!!

I hace receieved calls from this number at least 4 or 5 times a week for the last 4 or 5 weeks.  When I answer, there is no one there.  I tried calling the number immediately back after one phone call and received a recording saying I had reached "the subscription hotline" that if I needed assistance I needed to call back during business hours.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press has hired an illegal subscription service in an attempt to sell their crappy paper.  970 482-1410 has called my cell phone 10 times in the past 48 hours and my phone number is on the national do not call list.  This company is out of Colorado.  The Pioneer Press advised that they will place my phone number "back on the do not call list."  Big Deal!

I don't usually answer calls that only list their phone number, but no name. Last night we got a call from this number. Using this service, I am happy to find out who it is ... so I can report them to the Do Not Call registry of which I subscribe. We have a brand new number, only for weeks old. These guys work fast. Next time they call, I will ask them to wait a minute, put the phone down on the counter, and let them wait while I go about my business.
