I recieved a text message last night from this number stating Urgent Notice, then is states the name of bank and told me to call this number 970-744-3267, when I called the recording said: to reactivate your card please enter you card number. I did not enter it, my bank would send me a letter directly. I just emailed my bank to give them heads up...this is a scam for sure.

got the text but it says there is an issue with your suntrust mastercard, please call...... did and number says there is no room for messages. I do not have a suntrust card anyway, my carrier is metro pcs.
Beware, especially this time of year. My friend almost got scammed by a collection agency, they had all her info so she thought it was legit.

Received a text saying that my Suntrust Mastercard had been found and to please call 970-744-3267.  I have that card but it was in my wallet. So I waited until I got to worked and called from my job phone and a voicemail answered saying to leave you message.  I'm sure if I would have called from my cell they would have been trying to get some sort of information from me.

Call your bank immediately and inform them of the situation. They will cancel your card and issue you a new one. Sorry this happened to you but if you call your banks fraud line you will not be liable for any purchases they make using your card. Keep a very close look at your bank statement when you get it and make sure everything is on the up and up. If not call your bank and they will issue you a refund.

I just got a text from this number a little while ago. I knew immediately it had to be a scam. I have no credit cards let alone with sun trust bank. My phone carrier is metro pcs & this isn't the first weird thing to happen since getting this phone. I would never acknowledge the call. Don't trust them. What legit business operates in this manner?

Same thing happened. The text did not mention a card number but said our Suntrust mastercard is restricted and to call 970-744-3267. from serv@vtext.com. We are with verizon but we do not have a Suntrust credit card.  found this on Verizon's site. "Vtext.com is a companion website that is included with every activation of Text Messaging service (at no additional charge). This site expands your Text Messaging service by offering a growing variety of messaging features." Anyways, obviously a scam. Not calling.
