I work for a municipality.  This number has called for "Sam" 3 times in the last 40 minutes.  I got out of the last caller that her name was Heather, she had called once before, she was with MDA, she wanted to let Sam know of an upcoming event, and that since there was no was to return her call, she would not leave a message.  I've gotten other calls, although not from this number.  They're strategy is the same.  They cheerfully ask if their target is their, by using a first name only, as if they actually know the target.  Very annoying especially to waste a municipality's time.

I called them back and THEY SAID it was an non-profit seeking sponsorship for MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association).

No voicemail was left.

This number calls me often, then hangs up. Whenever I try to call back there is never an answer.

Getting pranks calls from this number.  they call and hangup immediately.  Very harassing,  this company should be closed by the Fed for doing this all the time.  Seems like they are trying to validate your number for their list.
