Got a message about my HSBC master card being locked for security reasons, press one. I don't have HSBC or MC. Glad this site is here. Did dial the number back though and only got a busy signal. Plain old fraud.

THe same thing happened to me and my husband: we both received a voicemail from this number, saying my HSBC account has been locked for security reasons and telling me to press one. We checked all of our cards, didn't have any HSBC account, and they had no record of us. I got the number from my cell phone caller ID.

Same thing as above. My question is why aren't any police or local authorities or anyone from the Federal Trade Commission shutting down this number? Don't they read any of these messages? Why is this number still in business? Is the Durango police workingon this?

Same as previous posters, a message saying my HSBC mastercard was blocked. I don't have one so I knew it was a scam. Anyone know whether this is a sign that the phone number has been specifically targeted, or whether it's just mass calling to try to get lucky? FWIW, I'm in the NYC area with a 917 area code...

I've been receiving voicemails from this number, saying my HSBC Mastercard has been locked for security reasons and asking me to press one to correct it. I don't have a HSBC credit-card nor does anyone else in my home, but even if we did, no one would press one or call this number back.

Got the same message saying HSBC Mastercard was locked for security reasons, and asked me to press 1 to unlock it. I didn't do it, and after the same message played twice, it disconnected. HSBC doesn't have me in their system, and I don't have a card with them. Agree this looks like fraud. Glad this website is here.

Same as above, mentioning my Mastercard had been locked for security reasons. I don't have a Mastercard.
How do we report these fraud calls to the authorities?
