i called the number back and it was an automated removal number. It says "Welcome to MAC. You have been contacted by one of our marketing companies. If you no longer wish to be contacted please press 1 at any time and your number will be removed from our database. Please allow 24 hours for the calls to stop. thank you"
I pressed 1 so now we will see if they stop. I am pretty sure it's a scam because when you try to talk to them they hang up. Legitimate businesses would apologize for bothering you and remove you from their system without any hassle.

These peope call me at least 6 times a day. I have caller ID and if I don't know the number or person I just hit the talk button and off button. To many of these calls out and about these days. Wish I had a rotarty call system to call their number 24 hours a day and let them know how bothersome they are.

Left a message about lowering the interest rates on all of my credit cards. Caller ID only identified it by city and state (Gresham, OR).
