Don't know the caller.

Caller ID says "CHILDRENS WISH"

I returned the call, and received a recorded message along the lines of:
Thank you for calling Donor Services Division.  Our office hours are 8am-5pm M-F Central Time.  Then a long sales pitch about how they assist various charitable organizations with inbound and outbound telemarketing.

Finally, it says "if you would like to be removed from the calling list for one of our charities, press 1".  I did, and it then says "Please state the name of the charity and then press pound", but it seems to ignore whatever you say, and after a few seconds simply repeats the prompt.  I think it is programmed to ignore your request.

I tried calling back later, while I was composing this comment, and this time it never even got to paragraph 2.  After the "sales pitch", it simply went to a busy tone.

I got a call from them and they said they was from the Special Olympics and was asking for a donation. I told them I knew they was not from the Special Olympics and that I worked for them which was true and I told them that the special Olympics would not call for donations.

Call from ORSO = Oregon Special Olympics

Callback yields message "the telephone number you have dialed is temporarily not in service."  Whatever the heck that means.
