Called twice on my land line. Seemed like a dead line or a cell number that was out of range.

Called twice on my cell, on second call I answered, but the caller hung up after several "hellos?"

I work with students in Africa & do not answer phone calls from numbers that have a country code or look like they are coming from outside the US (otherwise I would have phone calls coming all day & night from students seeking sponsorships).  Anyway, I took a call from 971-231-1202 thinking it was someone here in Portland, and it turned out to be a student in Africa... who was calling from Africa... How do they get their number to ring through a US (and local!) phone number??

They call a couple of times a day. If I don't know who the caller is that is on the caller ID, I let the machine answer and they don't leave a message. Just sit there for a second then hang up. When I called back there was silence. But one time I answered and put a phone blower in the phone. But they keep on calling.

My sister has figured out how to use this number to by-pass the block I put on calls coming in from her home number.  Although she lives in California, the call comes in from Gresham, Oregon.  It seems to be an anonymizer of sorts for calls.

got a call on my cell phone at 5 in the morning.  Noone calls me that early. The caller ID showed 971-231-1202.  When I called back it was busy several times and then later there was a message that the call could not be completed as dialed.  The only thing I can think of is that I very recently got a computer and a new business website in which my cell phone number is listed.

Let my machine answer it, no one spoke but lots of background noise (office-like).

I got several calls from this same number last night right around 10pm...  he would hang up each time and finally when we picked it up and did not say hello for a few HE said hello.  I asked him why he keeps calling and he hung up.  Just like everyone else I called the number back and got the rapid busy signal..  Irritating! The number comes up on the whitepages reverse lookup as a land line in Gresham Oregon..  We live 10 minutes from there.

I recieve calls from this number frequently, this time the person (same voice) said they were an attorney calling from a legal service and that this was a legal matter, was very beligerant and instant when I asked for a name he refused and when I asked for a call back number he gave me a number that dosen't exsist

Said he was asked to help a slow computer. I said by who? He just gave a bunch of double talk and I said who do you work for? He said microsoft. He wanted controll of my computer.Total scam.

I answered. No one there.

Caller hung up when I answered.  When I tried to call the number I got a busy signal.

call from this number on my caller ID, said srevice provider, when I tried to call back got rapid busy signal then tried again and got continueous ring

this number called my home at 11:00p.m. I answered thinking it was an emergency. No one calls that late. I said hello but no one responded. I then proceeded to say hello a few more times before hanging up. Tried to call it back and it didn't even ring. Just automatically disconnected me. There was nothing on the other end just silence. I don't know what they are thinking being so rude to call so late at night, but I am very upset. Someone should do something.

I just got a call from that number telling me they got notification my computer was down and wanted to know what was wrong. Told him computer was working he hung up. Had very heavy Indian accent.

This person has called my home number a few days in a row, over and over. When I say hello, they hang up. I *69ed and the number is 971-231-1202. When I tried to call back, always a busy signal or no answer.

I have a business, and this # calls me all day!! They just hang up!!

I got a call from this number at 3:00 in the morning.  There were other people in the background and the caller had a thick accent.  I couldn't understand what he was saying, and aske who he was.  He didn't answer, so I hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number, and the person is demanding to speak with someone high up in my company. (Whose name I will not disclose for security purposes.) The person on the other end of the line has an incredibly thick accent, and keeps telling me that he's calling from South Africa. He says he has a business proposal he needs to talk to someone about. He's been calling repeatedly, and he also calls from a 27-24-666-894 number.

caller thick accent, hard to understand, alot of static and background noise, caller stated I had a virus on my computer, I told him I did not, he wanted to know how I knew, when I asked the name of his company I couldnt understand him, when I asked where he was calling from he said NY, I clarified I wanted to know the name of his company, I couldnt understand him, when I asked for his phone number he started with "212" then refused to give any more, when I asked to talk with his supervisor he said he was the supervisor, when he again refused to give me his phone number I hung up and dialed *69 and his number was identified as 971-231-1202

Call came in and caller identified themselves as working for Microsoft and said that they got a report that our conputer was running slow and they wanted me to troubleshoot it with them. I asked them who sent them the report? they said that I did.  They wanted me to get onto my computer and work on this issue with them.  I asked them when the report was sent, they said yesterday.  I said it we don't have a computer and they hung up on me

recieved a call from 971-231-1202 no voice mail left and unable to call number back either got fast busy signal or no tone at all.

caller said they were from some toner company & kept wanting to know what kind of copiers & printer I had.

person asked if I had a website for my business and then when I asked who was calling they hung up on me.
