The caller ID says Coral Springs, FL on this particular #.  They're calling about a car warranty on a car I got rid of in FEBRUARY 2008.  I get up to 5 calls a day from various #'s, all with the same recorded message to start.  Pressing 1 will connect you to a person, pressing 2 is supposed to remove you from their list.  I pressed 2 for months.  Now I press 1, and when I ask a live person to remove me from their list, they hang up on me.  I've also asked to speak with a supervisor, and that gets me hung up on too.

Same people are calling me, and my parents. I don't own a car, so I figured that it was a mistake, but they've called me several times (even after they have claimed to have had removed my name from their "do not call" list).

they are indeed very rude. i got the call on my cell phone. when i asked how they got my number, he said from a telephone book. i told him he was lying, as he called a cellphone, and asked him not to call again. he said he'd call anytime he damn well felt like it. i told him i could race to where he was calling from, and have my 'OG' friends be outide waiting on him when he got off work. haven't got a call on my cell again, but boyare they calling my work number.

I got this call at the company in which I work (located in MI). It was an automated message stating something about my car warranty. I hung up and hit *69. The number was 954-369-1828. I googled it and found this site. I hit "1" to speak with a representative. A man answered in a hard to understand accent. He asked me what year my car was. I said, "Yeah, about that. This is a business and we don't have cars here." And he apologized and said that they must have dialed the wrong number (yeah, right... I know that's a lie). He told me that he'd take my work number off of his call list. And then proceeded to tell me that I had a lovely voice. I was polite and said thank you. He told me to have a wonderful day and hung up. His name was Andrew, I believe as well. I didn't hear the meowing noise, most likely because I didn't call back... But, now I'm tempted to just to hear it.

I am on the national do not call list. These people continue to call me, sometimes two or three times a day. There is a message about a car warranty expiring (I don't have one to expire.) then an option to either be removed from the list or to speak to a representative. Many times I have pushed the option to be removed. Many times I have tried to speak to someone. Usually they hang up on me when I start to tell them what is wrong. Sometimes they just tell me to push the option to be removed.
If I find out who these people are, I just may sue them. Any lawyers out there willing to take up the class action suit?

Great Atlantic Warranty Service, 2700 West Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL, 954-671-1105

The company...I'm trying to get them to mail me something with a business reply by mail envelope.  I'm going to mail back 4 bags of concrete with that business reply taped to them.  hopefully that will get them to stop calling me.

I answered and they hung up on me, so I called back and got the cat meowing...but they sent me almost immediately to voicemail. I left a rather testy message..we will see if they return my call. I thought it was a friend of mine from FL because i know many people there but that is really irritating. I wish they would leave an obscene message on my phone haha!

I did not say "Hello," that is too polite after getting the silent treatment and after my wife (they will ALWAYS talk to women, guess they think there an easy mark) talked to my wife and switched tactics in mid stream. My wife has a noticable Chinese accent and my wife was wondering why he switched from his M.O. of selling stuff for Dish Network to airline tickets to Hawaii, only after she was able to get a work in edgewise.

Car warranty scam.  They call me daily from various area codes and numbers.  When I do talk to them requesting that they remove my number from their records, they hang up, and still call back the next day.

As with the rest of you, I keep getting these same Warranty Service Center calls on various numbers and the MO is the same.  If I press 2, they hang up and keep calling, if I press 1 and ask any questions, they hang up on me and keep calling.  Of course calling back these numbers goes no where.  It sounds illegal to me, can't law enforcement get involved?

Also, this is a business phone they keep calling, so I know there full of it since I never give out this number when making purchases.

Getting them here as well. Two things wrong. First is I'm on the Do Not Call registry so I turned them in. Second, our local radio station said that it is indeed a scam.

Im with everyone else, isnt there anything we can do? I've called the law on them on several occasions. Im half way tempted to drive down there and kick their a**. Im also on the DNC list, yet i still get the calls all the freakin time. Today my girlfriend got a call from the number, but it wasnt a sellsman or anything. They were obnoxious and said some obscene gestures towards her.
