"SECURITY ALERT"... my azz! just another mutant little scammer trying to get me to pick up the phone. Really people, when you see numbers you don't recognize, don't answer the phone. When you do, it only lets the the scammer/robocaller know that it's a live line and the calls WILL continue. The only way to beat them at this game is to NOT answer the call. Eventually, they will STOP calling your number because it becomes listed as "dead" and they move on to other numbers (you know... the ones that people answer) so please, PLEASE stop answering calls you don't recognize!

Received a call from them this morn. I did one of those answer hang up deals. # ID said they were from Portland, Oregon

Caller ID said Portland,Oregon .
Same old "free security system" scam.
Like I would buy a security system from people who violate the "Do Not Call"(which is useless BTW) law.

It's like a broken robocall said Free Security Alarm system, Oh yeah until, someone gets fooled by this insane but ridiculous SCAM, Sorry but this telemarketing nonsense makes you crazy, Ignore it is the best weapon against these evil fraudsters.

Don't block them. Either answer them and waste as much of their time as possible or just let it ring until they give up. This takes at least a few extra seconds of the time they could be using to scam someone else.

Got a call 4:54 pm central Jersey. No message left, whoever it was hung up when my answering machine turned on. It will be blocked.
