This "gentleman" is extremely rude, demanding, obnoxious, and dishonest. Apparently he has been trained that with force and belittling you can get your way. Good luck with that.

called and just wanted to speak with business owner, wouldn't give me any info wouldn't leave a message, just wanted to call back. when i told her she needed to tell me why she was calling she hung up on me.

Called for the owner, after I asked who was calling BTI  Manufacturing...lol.  I recognized the number from a previous call they made here yesterday.   From the sounds of reading everyone's posts here tho, they make up a name of a company that may pertain to your area of business.   Gatekeepers rock....keep on communicating I love to read these and know what I am up against for their next call.   They make it sound like you should be worried that they may be a potential customer, and will get you in trouble for not getting their call through.   Thanks everyone for doing your job well, and thanks for the information...much appreciated!

I received a call today from a woman named Darcelle, who asked for the owner (we are a $6 billion company with offices all over the world), when I asked what it was regarding, she said she was calling on behalf of her boss, Eric something or other.  I gave her an email address and that seemed to placate her, but she was fairly rude.  It's an odd way to prospect in this market!

This guy was very rude and expects to just show up at the office to meet with our office manager. I told him we were not interested and hung up, he called back several times and I finally answered and he told me how rude I was.

Same thing... Loomis Construction out of Salem, OR!  The phone number is from Amity, Oregon.  The guy was very aggressive. Calls almost daily. When I told him we did not have a project with him he told me he would discuss my attitude with the owner!!  However, he continues to call and when I place him in the owners voicemail, he hangs up.  I have taken to placing him on eternal hold!
I felt like perhaps I had offended a potential customer, but now after reading these posts I can see that the company is a bunch of scam artists!

This was the second time this lady had called me.  She said that they had been by a couple of weeks ago and wanted to stop by agin to visit.  Hmmm Asked why I couldn't remember them stopping by & she said "Well maybe you just don't have a very good memory".  Thought that was rather brusk so asked to speak to her supervisor and she said the supervisor was not in today.  I thanked her for the call and told her that I just didn't need their freindship like she had suggested.
Actually, I kind of like their calls because they are a bit transparent and fun to string along!

Dude called, asked for the owner. I said the owner isn't in. He said he was returning a call from the other day and asked for the owner's cell number. I said I don't give out the owner's cell number. He hung up. These losers should try getting real jobs!

called and when i answered they hung up. havent called back

Same thing happened - guy called and said he was with "Dave Loomis's office".  Then made a "psh" noise and hung up when the owner would not take the call or when asked what the call was regarding.

The unprofessional solicitor called asking for the owner by name and hung up when told he is out of town.

I have been receiving calls daily at my place of business from 971.259.0602 from a woman named Darcelle for approximately 2 weeks now.  She always wants to speak to the owner, and while I have already communicated that I am the "gatekeeper" and to collect whatever information she wishes to convey, she keeps calling back (it's amazing).  Today, I firmly insisted that she stop calling and wasting my time, and that if this is such an important matter for the owner that she notify him in writing as he is never in the office.  She maintains that she can't as she represents another party and became quite confrontational, asking questions such as, "does the owner share all of his personal information with me" and "will I be in tomorrow morning"?  Gee, I wonder what tomorrow will bring - a gorilla at our doorstep?

Girl called my place of business asking for someone who hasn't been with the company for over a year. Told her that person was no longer with the company, she said "interesting, well then may I speak with the owner?" Told her the owner does not work out of this building, she wanted another phone number (office or cell) or an email address for the owner. I told her that I don't give that kind of information out, but would be happy to forward a message to the owner for her to call back if she wanted to leave a return number. She asked when the owner would be in, I told her they DO NOT work in this building. She got rude and said "well then how exactly do you expect to 'forward a message' to them?" HUH???? The lady was RUDE and LYING - telling me she had to speak with the owner about something confidential regarding the girl that no longer works that she asked for to begin with...ugh! Stupid solicitors!!!

I just received a phone call from this number. I have never seen this number before, but I did recognize the voice. This is a company that has multiple phone numbers, and based on the above comments I am confident that I am right. Google the phone number 214-206-8072. This is the same person who called from the 971-259-0602 number. They use the same phone carrier, which is Level 3 Communications. If the language used against you by these callers is abusive or constitutes harassment, I recommend filing a complaint with Level 3. My first communication from this phone number was professional, so as yet I am not filing. If she devolves into abusive language again, I will.

I just received this call as well. At first I heard "hold" music, then a man come on the line. I said "Hello?" and he hung up on me.

This person was violent and abusive! He said his name was James and business name was BRE and he wouldn't tell me what they did. When I said no thank you and hung up he called me from his cell phone at 773-259-0602 and told me i was a "dXXX sucking bXXXX" and threatened me and then hung up. watch out. I almost want to call the police

When I prssed for details, he hemmed & hawed - so I hung up. This upset him enough that he called me right back & "thought I'd be more professional" - then HE hung up! :)

Guy called saying they were looking for a printer for their company that is relocating to Oregon.  Only wanted to speak with the owner and set an appointment.  Wouldn't give any information on what type of printer they were looking for.  Not interested in speaking over the phone only wanted to stop by in the morning for a meeting.  Scammer!!

they called me to wanting to come to the house to get more info fore the owner.

Called suggests that she represents a multi-million dollar company  (Vanderbilt?)needing confidential information from our "owner".  When I asked specifically what her client was wanting our services for, she said that she could not repond.  She was only going to be our in area for a couple of months and needed an owner right away.
Verbally rude, pushy, and threatening.
