Some guy's voice asking for someone I do not know.
Tess 2011-08-23 17:03:29 Unknown
Nope, I'm pretty happy with them. We get invited for a 2 or 3 night stay, when we say we can't they offer other - eventually it gets down to a one day thing & they pay us $150. We've been owners for over 20 years, we're Grandfathered in & are Presidential owners so our meetings are (thankfully!) very brief! We get offered the $ about 4 times a year. So, if you have a resort near you hold out for $$!!
Tiki60 2011-08-17 21:12:19 Unknown
I guess I'm the only happy owner. They often call to invite you out for surveys, but you don't have to go. the plus side to going for a survey, is that you get a free weekend .
Tiki60 2011-08-17 21:07:00 Unknown
Just call Corp office and ask them to remove you from any future phone calls for promo's...very simple. I've done it and I don't get any calls

Further investigation reveals that the caller is Silverleaf Resorts. They have an interesting reputation, and I'd advise anyone receiving their calls to Google them before making any purchases.
Oh, and I wouldn't confirm name, etc nor give them any info except to tell them to put me on the do not call list, so rather than connect me with a supervisor as I requested, the caller hung up on me.
disgruntled postman 2011-07-28 23:13:35 Unknown
It's some kind of timeshare. They told me that they couldn't take my number off their call list unless I confirmed my name, address and other information with them.
CClements 2011-07-20 21:42:51 Unknown
Good idea!
CClements 2011-07-20 21:42:20 Unknown
I agree! I am an owner too (hated it since the day I bought it--I got more free stuff when I didnt own) and they wont stop calling me! I dont want to hear what they have to offer, it makes me sick to my stomach when I hear from them or think about this company!
Liz Mann 2011-06-06 21:08:22 Unknown
Caller states they are calling on behalf of Bank of America! Yeah Right! Click

Just another Silverleaf Resorts Telemarketer calling to get me to a meeting for more information.
Jason R 2011-06-06 21:08:22 Unknown
Anyone knows who this is?
eyemclay 2011-02-17 17:40:07 Unknown

I am an owner (yes I regret it), they call me at least twice a month, and each time they call they will twice within 5 minutes. I know the number well enough that I know not to answer. They are forever wanting to update me and give me $150 to come in and take a 'survey'. Often I will get a call from 000-000-0000, and then get the silverleaf call the next day. I do not answer either.

One call...no voicemail mssg left.
Never owned a timeshare. Today is the first day I received a call from this number. I am in the Dallas area and am aware of who Silverleaf is but of course that name doesn't show on a cell phone. I am just going to touch the "Block Caller" button on my cell phone.....oops there it is!
Ichinisan 2010-09-17 22:36:18 Unknown
I know nothing of this "SilverLeaf" and I've never owned a timeshare. I received a voicemail message from this number while I was out of AT&T's service area for a few hours:
"Hey, this is Kim. I'm with the VIP department. Please give me a call back I have some wonderful news for you as well as a cash gift. 1-866-217-8199 extension 4891. Thank you."
The periods are for readability. She actually spoke without pausing.
This was completely unsolicited and I'm on the do-not-call list. "The VIP department" doesn't actually say who the hell you are! If you won't even say who you are, you're NOT going to get a call back.

Best thing to do with SilverLeaf (I am an owner) is go online and remove all phone numbers but one - that doesn't mean they don't have other records but it may help. I still get calls every 2 to 3 weeks.
kara 2010-06-15 22:54:50 Unknown
silverleaf hires an outside company to make these calls..they may get paid for each call they make...probably don't care if they make us mad !!!
maybe if we complained to silverleaf?

I am an owner ...what is a good way to sell my timeshare? I have had it with them , as well....realtor? ad? any ideas?

I don't know how they got my cell phone number, but they call my house at least 10 times a day, 7 days a week. I call this harrassment..I definitely have not made an appointment with them nor do I intend to buy anymore updates.
nancy 2010-04-28 02:46:11 Telemarketer
worse thing we ever did. they call everyday and i told them I will call you. great idea is to change your number to the 111.
Linda 2010-04-26 16:05:56 Telemarketer
never even had a time share and they called "about my reservation from last week". what a bunch of BS they are! then said they are not a telemarketer. their message said to call back 800-334-7957 x4154 which I did to demand they never call me again!
jeff 2010-04-23 13:18:42 Unknown
silverleaf is really a pain.worst thing i ever did was to buy a timeshare from them.they are crooks.very dishonest.those update meetings` are a joke.all they do is to try and get you to spend more money. getting information on the timeshare is a joke.what i paid for my timeshare i will never even get close to getting my money back.they wonder why i do not want to come for a visit.it is just dirty money to me you get.
Kurg 2010-03-11 16:08:52 Unknown
I get called by Silverleaf about every 6 weeks. They offer to update my account and offer me $150 for the chance to do it. Since I am semi-retired and the resort is only about 40 minutes away I take the appointment and go do it.

Mayo is right,That is true , just change your area code, I finally got to the right person and told them I wanted them to stop calling and that is what they did, it does work : ) Change area code to 111
simpson 2010-02-10 17:08:21 Unknown
stop calling me unless you're giving something away for FREE...Spent enough $$$ on Silverleaf...paid in full, leave me alone!!
mayo 2010-01-06 23:05:12 Unknown
I used to get the same calls and I just went online to their website and changed my contact number to area code 111 which does not exist and the calls have stopped. Anything truly important is sent to you via mail and not phone calls so this does not present any problem with knowing what is going on with the timeshare.
Besides the calls, I am happy with my Silverleaf experience. We own 2 weeks and have had great vacations inhouse and exchanges as well.

Silverleaf,
Constant calling to up grade our account which is paid in full. We have everything we want and their upgrade cannot touch what we have, Need to have them to STOP CALLING AND CALLING, NO, MEANS NO !!!. When we do decide to up grade we will call you. Then ask me and pressure me for Referals, give me a break I would give you a referal if you didn't hound them as much as you hound an owner. You all are way out of line.

Silverleaf is the worst mistake I ever made. I FINALLY paid off my timeshare with them last year and I get NON-STOP calls from them wanting to update me, and give me a weekend getaway at a resort. I explain to them that I have bonus time and when I want to get away I will contact them. I receive calls every week, and sometimes more than once a week. They call my cell phone, my work phone and my home phone. I have told them repeatedly that I do not want calls from them, yet the calls still continue.
