Again, this is for confidentiality reasons.  IAG employees are very professional and make sure that business is conducted in a  confidential manner.  A little about the company to show that this is a very legitimate business. IAG, LLC is a business intermediary consulting firm, facilitating the buying and selling of businesses. For more than 25 years the Management Team has been a leader in the industry and has helped the owners of privately-held companies "cash in" on all their hard work and get the best payoff possible.

IAG, LLC is a consulting firm that helps connect businesses for sale with buyers who want to acquire the company, but they also do much more. For many first-time sellers, selling a business can seem complex and intimidating. To help ease the process, IAG, LLC provides each business with a designated point of contact to walk them through each step of selling their business. Through IAG, LLC, businesses are prepared and assisted in the entire sale process.

The truth is IAG is NOT a scam!  How do I know?  I am one of the independent appraisers that performs your "phony" business appraisals.  My name is Daniel Binkley, Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA) and Certified Senior Business Analyst (CSBA).  I have performed hundreds (it not thousands) of valuation and offering memorandum reports for a variety of businesses including IAG.  I have experience in retail, wholesale, agricultural, manufacturing, mining, aerospace, oilfield, food service and virtually every type business you can think.  I have posted here previously and somehow my posts have been deleted; intentionally or unintentionally, I do not know!   IAG is a legitimate business providing legitimate services.  If you have any questions for me directly, please contact my via e-mail a daniel@ve-valuations.com at your convenience!

The truth is...this company is a SCAM! You buy leads and have telemarketers call business owners indicating that you have a potential buyer. International??? You don't have offices in the places you claim. You charge $10k- $30k for phony business appraisals. I met with an Independent Contractor representing this firm a couple of years ago and have been investigating them ever since.

They are on to you...soon you will have to change names once again.

Hi Close Call!  IAG is not a scam and once one has performed some semblance of due diligence, one would discover the truth.  Unfortunately for some in the business world, it takes too much effort to investigate on one's own behalf to learn the facts. By the way, Holden Buckner, who no longer operates at IAG, was facing criminal charges in the domestic arena and not the M&A markets.  If you would like to know more, contact IAG directly!

I received a call from IAG and was considering meeting with them. My friend notified me that IAG is a scam and Holden Buckner has criminal charges here in Canada too.

Thank you for the information.

100% total scam.  It's the same thing as Corporate Acquisitions Group/Global Acquisitions Group(they changed names when the criminal lawsuits started to pile up) from Englewood Colorado.  They were finally killed by the Colorado AG and hit with a $2 million dollar fine for defrauding over 700 small businesses.

According to the complaint filed in Arapahoe County District Court, Defendant Tymkovich and Levine represented themselves to be a business broker company specializing in the sale of small businesses. Defendants solicit business owners contemplating the sale of their business, making exaggerated claims and false representations as to the benefits of their services.  The Defendants convinced over 700 businesses to contract the sale of their businesses. However, Defendants sold fewer that ten businesses from July 2006 ? September 2009.

Call received at business. Man identified himself as Michael Rose from International Inquisitions. As this was obviously a telemarketer, I screened the call and said the owner was in a meeting but offered to help with Mr. Rose's questions. He pointedly said he did not want to talk to me, that he was looking to "purchase" something. When I continued to screen the call (and not put him online with the owner), he became aggressive and accused me of being extremely rude and then hung up. How ironic.

No legitimate M&A company does cold calling. None. Not yours not anyone. No exceptions.

Only scammers operating in this space do cold calling.

And when sites like this make it hard to trick victims out of money on the phone, they send their scammers here to try to make it seem legitimate. FAIL.

Please let me clarify this whole matter. This company is not a scam.  I've been working with this "group" (IAG, International Acquisition Group, LLC) for 5 1/2 years as an independent contractor.  IAG was actually formed fall of 2009 by acquiring other firms in the Mergers and Acquisition industry, of which I was a part of.  They advertise in print (USA Today, Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, etc) and on the Internet (businessesforsale.com, bizquest.com, bizbuysell.com) looking for individuals, investors (Private Investment Groups, Private Equity Groups and Private Investors), and Foreign and Domestic Corporations looking to invest or to purchase an existing privately held company through a liquidity event.  They start with the buyer/investor. Through their buyer registration process it is determined what type of business, price range and location the buyers/investors are looking for.  Through their buyer registration it is determined what qualifications the buyer has, e.g., cash for down payment, back ground knowledge or skills they possess in their requested business type.  Does the buyer need financial assistance for the purchase?  IAG then begins a search for matching businesses.  They obtain information from Dun & Bradstreet for this business search.  Unfortunately, the information provided through Dun & Bradstreet isn't 100% accurate.  And in the search for business owners that may want to sell, IAG sometimes is asking for an owners name that doesn't exist.

Since an owners decision to sell their company should be maintained in privacy, IAG can not tell an employee who answers the phone, "the reason why we are calling is to talk to your boss about selling the company, please put him on the line."  IAG maintains complete confidentiality for the business owner.

Are there fees involved?  Yes, IAG provides their client an Independent Certified Business Valuation, Confidential Business Review and a Comprehensive Business Plan for the owner of the business.  These Documents are prepare by outside companies and are used by Buyers/Investors, Sellers, Lenders for the Buyers, and the Courts.  They are a necessary part of the seller/buyer process. They are ordered and prepared in the beginning steps of the selling process to be ready for those that need them, so they are paid for at the beginning sales process, and at a cost of about 1/3 what it would normally cost without IAG's involvement.

There is no excuse for bad phone behavior.  If you experience bad behavior from any of IAG's employees, IAG would like to know.  No company is perfect.  IAG has a lot of good employees that work hard for their clients, and they, too, would not like to have their reputation marred be people out of control.  If you experience bad behavior from an IAG employee, please call 877-497-0693, and ask for Ellen Lalli.

The whole thing is a SCAM. They want you to think that they have investors who are willing to buy your business and then turn around and ask you for $10k upfront for an appraisal. They make you feel like if you don't do it now, you will lose this opportunity. It's a scam to get your money upfront and you will never hear from them again. Research it.

The man asked to speak to the owner, person incharge, spouse, mother, father or even the dog would be fine.   Needless to say, I hung up.  This number rang back an hour later and I let the message machine pick up and a message wasn't left.  When I entered the number on 411.com it gives alot of listings but the number doesn't match.

Just received a call.  Asked for my boss and refered to him as "Mike" when he always goes by "Michael".  Woman was very rude!  She said she was calling from IHE in regards to a business matter.  When I asked to be more specific she said that she couldn't tell me anything unless I was his wife.  I hung up.

They want to buy the company you work for, it's that simple: I manage a storage facility. At least two nearby competitors have sold to larger chains in the last year. For the last year we have also received heavy solicitation to sell. First we were contacted via mail, and now phone calls. This person also introduced themselves as working for IAG, an aquisition company in Texas. He explained that they were working on behalf of investors who would like to buy personal storage facilities. I think it's legit. I think they are payed to drum up investments for investors like larger chains who can afford to pay millions to swallow up the smaller competition. I called the number back anonymously through *67 and was answered by a very kind receptionist who explained that she had no way of telling who had called me and so didn't know who to direct me to, unlike solicitors who don't usually pick up or when they do are very rude.

Here is a website with matching contact number:

Would not leave a message with my assistant.  This is a solicitation.  Had it been real the woman would have identified herself and not hung up.
