this is capital one finance.  People should file a complaint with the attorney generals office in your state. The people have called 14 times in under 24 hours and their payment was made.  They are nasty and call before the due date,the due date and after the due date even if the payment is made

I switched to bi-weekly mortgage payments through another company because capital one would not do bi-weekly payments. With the other company my mortgage will be paid off in 18 years, and save me $53,000. Although cap one is getting my payment they call me all day, on both my home & cell phones. I guess they're pissed off about losing the $53k. The calls, at the very least amount to 24 calls daily, and they call until 10pm every night. This has been going on since May 2008. Also, I know it's cap one because I called the number on my cell phone caller ID. They are crazy.

I get this number and 3 other ones from the same exchange. Leaves no messages

Oh, Capitol One... On the rare occasion that I answer these calls, they tell me because I am a higher risk loan, they are making a courtesy call to remind that my payment is due on a certain day.  I'm not an idiot...I realize that BEFORE the 20 calls per day, 25 days BEFORE my payment is due!  SO GLAD I'M REFINANCING ELSEWHERE.  That's why they charge so much interest...to pay their phone bill!

They call me 20 times a day. I hope they go out of business, Hell I hope all credit card companies go out of business. I am will never use a credit card again. I will pay cash from now on.

This is Kristina from capital one calling about a 2005 dodge neon.  I told them I didn't buy a dodge neon.  Then she says well is this Rick, I said yes.  Then she says well we need to get some basic information.  Then asked what state and city I live in.  I told her I am not giving you that information.  Then she hung up.  I called capital one right after that and gave them the number and told them what she said.  They said it has to be fraud because they have no idea what you buy.  The only see the vendors name and the amount you spent.  They said this is a fraud call and DO NOT give any information to them.  Then they called back the next day and said the same thing about a dodge neon.  I said well you called about it yesterday too.  Then she said "oh ya uh well I'll try and get this removed from your account"
So I called capital one again and they want me to file against them.

Many calls every day

This is Capital One.  They called me non-stop yesterday at work and when I let the call go to voice mail they would dial "0" to get the receptionist and have her put the call through again to my phone, then when I would not answer yet again, they dailed "0" again and had the receptionist page me, and finally when I didn't answer the page they called my cell phone (which I never gave to them by the way).  This cycle went on over and over again throughout the day and like others who have posted here, they used multiple different phone numbers.  I finally got too fed up with it and called them back around 3 or 4 pm. and demanded that they discontinue calling me at work.  First they said they had only called three times which I told them was not true, then they said they would put a "note" in their system not to call me at work, but threatened to start calling the referrals I had given when I took out the loan, and finally said they would re-possess my car, I told them that they had to do whatever they had to do but they can't keep calling me at work.  However, I just got a call at work today 8:32 AM and guess who? Capital One.  I'm going to make a log of what happens today...

I made my payment to Capital One yesterday, yet this morning, I am still receiving the calls.  Go figure.  At least the mystery is solved as to who keeps calling me every 30 minutes.  They keep switching extensions, as well.  The following numbers called me within the last 24 hours:

I made the mistake of making a payment once to this company from my cell phone for my wife.  Where I'm not listed on her loan, they had no problem taking money from me.  However they call everytime she is the slightest bit late many times a day on my cell phone.  When I answer and ask for my wife, I inform them they are calling my cell phone and I will be happy to give her a message.  They refuse to say who they are or what they want.  I've asked them to remove my number from her account seeing how they refuse to talk to me and leave a message.  My wife never used my cell number as a point of contact and only because I once had made a payment on her behalf from my phone do they even have my number.  These people are very rude!  I will never personally have anything to do with Capital One.

I am very fed up with this company calling me. They ask for some one I've never heard of. I've answered it 2x and told them to stop calling as theyhave the wrong #.
They keep on calling anyway. I'm planning on reporting them to my State Attorney General Office--may do some good.

This is CAPITAL ONE AUTO FINANCE in Dallas, Texas.  They start calling the first day into your 15 day "grace period" on your auto loan and if you don't answer, their computer redials every 50 minutes from 8 am to 9 pm local time until you answer.  Even when you make arrangments to pay before your 15 day "grace period" expires, they will continue to call daily until they receive your payment.

I've never answered, but they call here sometimes every 15 minutes. First one number, it stops another immediately calls, then another. I've left the phone off the hook on a call and it sounds like a fax. They call from 8 am to 9pm and usually every 15 to 20 minutes. There's no answer sometimes either and our number is on the Do Not Call Registry. They never leave a message and these calls have been going on for months! Sometimes I have to unplug the phone or leave to have peace. Every day of the week.

Please tell me how to block this from coming through? home and cell?

These numbers are scammers. I've gotten them before. They're getting our numbers from anything related to our car insurance and car loans!!!

I AM AT MY JOB AND I KEEP GETTING A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 1-972-378-3547.  IF THEY WOULD JUST LEAVE ME A MESSAGE I WOULD CALL THEM BACK FROM MY CELLPHONE BUT THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I AM GOING TO WASTE MY TIME RETURNING THEIR CALLS FROM MY JOB NUMBER.  I ONLY HAVE ONE MORE WEEK HERE AND IF I CALL THEM THAN I WILL FELL OBLIGATE TO MAKE SOME SORT OF COMMITTMENT THAT I KNOW I CAN'T KEEP.

seems legitimate because I telephoned a client on the list (I chose Rogers Communications) to check it out, and they confirmed yes.
I easily arranged a do not call.

They keep on calling and never leave messages. if it were important they would have left a message. When checking on the interent to see who has been calling me there is no info so it has to be a telemarketer. I did sign up for unwanted telmarkerters to call my cell phone and i still get them. This unwantyed caller has called me more then 4 times.

I put a silent ringer on other calls from HSBC. Worked like a charm. They stopped calling eventually. I'll do the same with this number.

You should verify that they are not violating the FDCPA (Capital One) - there are rules in place as to the way they can call and in my experience with them - it is shady at best. Hmm....I made a significant payment to them 3 days after my due date, and I set up an arrangement to pay the balance of my late fees by the 15th.  The agent promised to stop with the collection calls.  Liars.  2 calls in 1 minute.  If I wasn't upside down on my car, i would get a new car.

Capital One- they will not leave a message, because if they do, they cannot continually call back - that would be harrassment.  If they don't leave a message, they can call till they get someone on the phone.  What's in your wallet?

I received 3 calls from this number ,no voice mail . Calls are coming back to back. If you get a call from this number block it I did.
