They called 11 times in one day and 7 times before 10am today.  Capital one calling from india to collect on a late payment.

If you EVER, and I mean EVER, call Capital One from any phone they will record that number FOREVER. I made the mistake of calling about my husband's account on MY personal cell phone and now I am the one getting 10 calls a day from them. They will call and not leave a message or if they actually do leave a message(very rare), it just says that you have to call them back to hear the message. I'm thinking about getting a new cell number since they have flatout refused to honor my request to quit calling my cell.

This call is from Captitol One.  It is a person from Mumbi, India named Bob, Susan, Carl or David who can not speak English well.  Anyway, my car payment was one day late (I was on vacation in Europe) and they called all day long beginning on a Sunday and wanted to take a check over the phone.  Never give anyone access to your checking account as they can then use that number to collect without your permission. Anyway, Capitol once called me 7 to 8 times a day for three days until I could get to an internet cafe' to make the payment.

The caller ID says that this call is from Capitol One Financial. No one answers when we pick up. Whats worse is, this is a business. We just want them to quit calling and hanging up! They call about 2-5 times a day.

These people who can't even speak english keep calling my phone and asking me to refinance my car through Capital One. They ask for a list of 10 different names and none of which are me. I have never had any sort of account with Capital One and after this experience NEVER will. They call me 10-15 times a day even weekends and it is always the same stupid girl who I swear is down syndrome. I want them to leave me the hell alone!!!

They call at least 10 times a day.  You cannot get through to a person.  This is Capital One Auto Loan. I called the company and complained, they said it would take up to 30 days to remove me from the list.  I said this number was on the DoNotCall registry but they really didn't care.

These people call over 10 times a day, even on Sunday!

This is Capital One and they call almost every day. I have told them several times we're on the do-not-call registry and the rep said last call that he'd have to check and see if we really didn't have an account with them. They only way I've been able to get to a rep is to give a bogus acct. # and wait for assistance. Will be sending an e-mail today with a warning notice that an FTC complaint is next. p.s. not sure if this is collections or telemarketing

These people call me 10-15 times a day and I have asked them each time to put me on the do not call list. I am registered with the National do not call registry and they still call. I have filed a complaint and it has done nothing. It is Capital One Finance they want me to refinance my car through them. Capital One auto finance, they never leave a message, they call ALL day long but never call my home # for some reason, only my cell. Different numbers, too, but always same prefix and area code. They will call until you pay, even if you schedule a payment online, they will call until it posts.

this is definitely Capital One Auto Finance. As with most large coporations that deal with collections, they have an automated process for placing calls through a system that tracks data, and dials your number from different numbers. Most of the numbers are the same area code and prefix, but different last 4 numbers..

I just got a new cellphone number.  A day or two later I began receiving calls from the 972-378-5050 number referenced above, and other 972 area code numbers, several times a day.  I try talking with them that they are calling the wrong person, but it does not register with them and often it is a different person calling each time.  I finally just turned the phone ringer off.  Has anyone tried contacting Capital One Auto Finance, to see if they can get anywhere with this problem I consider cellphone harassment.

I don't want to have to get a new phone number.  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
